GODS CARE FOR HIS CHILDREN.
I want to share with you a personal serious accident. If it not had been for the Lord who helped me at that time, I have not been living today.
In 1967, I went with two brothers to an island. We should have revival meetings there, where we should show a film from the world well known Evangelist AA Allen. People with sicknesses, who where resigned by doctors and lay on stretchers, was perfect healed by Jesus Christ. The car as my brother Harry drove was an old car, I was seated in the passenger site in the front and John set at the back of the car. We took the ferry over to Gjimnes and from there the trip would go on to the destination. Before we started on the trip, I was very upset. I had been saved in one year, so I did not have as much experiences in the spirituality, but I knew that I loved Jesus Christ and would serve him whole-heartedly. I asked several persons if they could pray for me.
t was new snow some places along the way. When we had been driving for a while, I was very upset and a voice spoke to me and said; we came to drive outside the way. This took place in the 80-zone, and Harry brake down to about 70 kilometres when the car was thrown off the road, down in a field in which there was a large stone and where we crashed. Before it happened I said to Jesus: "I am coming". I was thrown into the dashboard and crushed my nose; both my legs were crushed in the body. The windscreen lay strewed throughout the car. Both Harry and John were damaged, but I was going to bleed to death. The word from God came to me. P.salms 50.15;
Call up on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me."
Then it stopped the bleeding. God is the word and he keeps his promises. I had a long hospital stay in Molde. If I should tell more about this, there would have been an entire book. With this letter I will only speak about God's faithfulness. He sees us, even if we can not feel his nearness, he will help us.
