During Israel's captivity in Persia, Nehemiah's desire to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, led him on a journey which would be the beginning of a new nation. The first gate restored at the city was the 'Sheep Gate' which was the sacrifice of lamb. The Lamb of GOD is Jesus Christ who sacrificed his own life in order to take our sins away!
