Would You As Pastor allow Homosexuals To Frolic In Your Church?

Vermont has just okayed what they call "same sex mariages". It is very sad that we humans who are supposed to be the most intelligent creatures on earth, dont even understand or appreciate the sacred purpose of marriage. The reason why God instituted marriage is for reproduction, plus nothing, minus nothing. The sole reason why we are created male and female, or exibit some form of sexuality is to reproduce. If we didnt have to reproduce after our kind, we wont have any devices for sex. Angels dont reproduce and as such are sexless beings. Everything else God put on earth comes in pairs of male and female. Even birds know this. Have you ever gone bird-watching and seen two male birds weaving a nest and trying to raise a family?
You dont have to be a rocket scientist in order to understand that another man's behind was neither designed by God nor evolution for sex. The anus is not a sexul organ, period. So that if you want to use a body feature designed to accomplish one task for a completely senseless one then there is something wrong with your perception. You are like the man who sees a deer and calls it an elephant. Something is wrong upstairs!! What is the purpose of a so called same sex marriage. Sexual pleasure so they speak. But pleasure is not the purpose for sex.The pleasure part is secondary. God made sex pleasurable, why? Because if it had felt like surgery, you would have to hold a gun to your partner's head to have children. Homosexuals have taken the "purpose" out and are going gang-ho after the "pleasure".WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT PLEASURE-SEEKING IN THE LAST DAYS?
As A pastor the only way I would allow a homosexual in my congregation if they understand that homosexuality, just all other deviations , is wrong and they came to church to seek help like all of us do. But if a homosexual shows up in church all cocky and full of gay pride and trying to peddle his ware in the church, I will chase him out with a baseball bat!!! lol!
You just said "wow, he hates homosexuals!", right? Wrong. As a pastor you cant hate anybody because of their sin.It will be like a Doctor hating a patient because the latter has a form of cancer the Doctor dreads. But if the patient tells the Doc, "Leave my cancer a lone. I was born with it, and I am proud of it." Well, then get out of the hospital! I dont hate homosexuals, I hate homosexuality. You dont hate the sinner, you hate the sin. You have to hate the sin enough to be able to help the sinner. On the other hand if you love the sin, you yourself might just get caught up in it.I consider it a disgrace to the human race that we allow behavior that even some animals shy away from.

See this is directed directed at the poof who is pretending to seek the truth. Not EW ministries.
I understood that brother Andy, but thanks for letting me know. God Bless.
Considering all the divorced preachers out there who have remarried or seeking remarriage, it's just something to think about. I think it is called Optical Log Removal.
I see all that you have named as a huge embarrassment to the Body of Christ, but again, this discussion is about homosexuality. I might add that some of the divorced preachers are a result of homosexuality as well as remarriage to another spouse.

I do see that homosexuality has become a huge problem in our churches as both men and women cross over to the dark side and leave the holiness of God. This is why the word of God says: God gave them (homosexuals) over to a reprobate mind.
Brotha,
Has anyone ever told you that you looked like Denzel Washington?
There is a reason the Lord promised the Holy Spirit before He ascended into the heavens. The main reason is perception. Without the holy spirit scripture is open to all kinds of intrepretation. We have closed ended scripture and open ended scripture. Close ended scripture has got to do with universal truths. Example Thou shall not steal is universal, wherever you go , no matter the culture you will be told this. Homosexuality is universal, show me any culture in the world apart from the rotten west where homosexuality is even shyly looked upon with favor, no not one. When you talk about a concept like worldiness, the Holy Ghost is the best source of interpretation. Because what is considered worldly in one culture is not in the other. for instance in Africa, a woman who wears trousers(what you call pants over here is suppose to be not just worldly but a prostitute, I must admit that this was so in africa when I left more than a decade ago). But in the US wearing pants by women is normal and somtimes it makes sense, cause of the weather.I used to make this joke when i preach: A man of God went to preach in a prison. Lots of immates came out to listen to him. In his sermon he said "folks do not be deceived, in hell there will be weeping , wailing and nashing of teeth" There was this oldman of over 90 years who was serving a life imprisonment sentence. He had lost all his teeth over the years, This oldman looked at his friend sitting right next to him and said "thank God I aint got any teeth". After the service , his friend confronted the preacher and said "hey Mr preacher you said in hell there will be weeping, wailing and nashing of teeth, my friend over here aint got no teeth how is he gonna nash?" The preacher looked at him and said "Dont worry, dentures will be provided"
See. perception. Without the Holy spirit we all be wallowing in darkness. The reason we have all kinds of interpretation of who is christian and who is not, what is Godly and what is not is because many are in the church who are not in tune with the Holy Spirit. Homsexual preachers are not. They belong to a social club inspired by Ibliss, the son of perdition, Mr Stinker. Your master knows me very well. Ask him what he tried to do to defeat God's purpose in a remote village in Africa where the people had never heard of the word, and when a woman received Christ and vowed not to return to the voodoo shrine where she was indepted on my advice, and how Mr stinker, the insane devil struck her playing child into unconciousnes, and how she ran to me with the baby, and I told your stinking master, fithy son of perdition to take his fithy hands of that baby in the name of Jesusand how he relinquished his hold on that poor baby intantaneously, ask him, the foul and filthy devil.
Brother Andy, your Leviticus quote is out of context. These are words to the ceremonial preist who were also told not to touch women on the menstral cycle or eat shellfish. All of which were called ABOMINATIONS. And all of which you and I both do today because we know that this law does not apply to us today.

And I have shown plainly using the Bible what the Sin of Sodom was (Ezekiel 16:48-50). Underlining the word Sodomite won’t change the Bible.

And as for the use of the word effeminate in 1 Corinthians…
The word means “soft” or “one who is morally weak”. And you forgot to list the one in I Timothy 1:10 which means “people who use power to obtain sex,” though the word is so rare that a confident translation is impossible. Neither word refers specifically to gay men or lesbians.

In this passage there are two key phrases relevant to our discussion. First there is the reference to “effeminate” persons, which is often viewed as a reference to gay men. In truth, however, the Greek word translated “effeminate” in verse 9 is quite broad. The word is malakoi, and it literally means “soft.” So Paul is saying “soft people” will not inherit the kingdom of God. Since we know Paul was not talking about the Pillsbury Dough Boy, we have to ask what he meant.

This common Greek word had different connotations depending on the context in which it was used. In terms of morality, it generally referred to something like laziness, degeneracy, decadence, or lack of courage. The connotation was of being “soft like a woman” or like the delicate expensive fabrics worn by rich men. In the patriarchal culture of the time, women were thought to be weaker than men, more fearful, more vulnerable, and more vain. Thus, men who ate too much, liked expensive things, were lazy, or liked to dress well were considered “soft like a woman.” Although this type of misogynistic thinking is intolerable in our modern society, it was common in ancient times and explains why the King James Version translated malakoi as “effeminate.”

In the light of this understanding many of our hetero pulpit preachers would have to called malakoi, with their very fine and expensive suits and robes etc…

If you don’t believe me pick up your Greek lexicons and read for yourself…

GOD is still true… and I’m still a pastor/teacher.
Deweyne J., What then is your explanation for Corinthians 6:27-28. It is very clear and no way to explain it away.

You have probably been turned over to a Reprobate mind, which is why you are not receiving or understanding what the scripture says. Reprobate typically means spit out and given over to your own desires because you have rejected the truth.

Do you really think God intended for two men to have sex with each other? Yes or No
Brother EW, can you please restate your bible reference again the one you listed does not exist
Romans 1 is similar to the chapters in Leviticus in the sense that Paul's chidings are sandwiched between admonitions against idolatry.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Romans 1:18-23

And ending with,
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient… Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." Romans 1:28, 32

So we're talking about people who know better—actually, Christians. The people being spoken of are Christians who have turned from their beliefs and are worshipping an idol, "an image made like to corruptible man , and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

What does God do in reaction?
"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:" Romans 1:24
Wait, where's that part about the "lesbians"? Oh, this is verse 24, addressed presumably to members of the congregation who are not "homosexuals" or "lesbians," in other words "straight" people.

So, when straight Christians "dishonour their own bodies between themselves" that means that no one should engage in heterosexual relations—that because some heterosexual relations are ungodly, then all heterosexual relations are ungodly.

Or, it means that some heterosexual relations are ungodly and some aren't, and some "homosexual" relations are ungodly and some aren't.

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." Romans 1:26,27

If it is assumed that these verses refer to all same sex relations then one is left to explain "the natural use of the woman." What is "the natural use of woman?" Is it to make babies? What of women who cannot, or do not, make babies? Have these also changed their "natural use?" Is it therefore a sin for a woman not to have babies?
Is "the natural use of women" the extinguishment of the burning lust of men? Do women exist to quell the lust and violence of angry raping mobs? Do they exist to satiate the unfettered lust of men, whether willingly or not?

Or do women exist to love and be loved? If this is the answer then the verses here have nothing to do with homosexually but with the dishonoring of bodies whether male or female, straight or gay.
BTW, In these verses, Paul is condemning idol worshippers and God haters. According to Paul, these “God haters” experiment with gay sex only as a way of seeking new thrills or in cultic worship. Clearly, he is not speaking about modern, innately gay and lesbian people, who love God and want to honor God while living with integrity as who they are.

Again all this can be verified by the Bibical and historical record as anybody can find out at the local library.
I would love to respond to the "Corinthians 6:27-28" quote from the Bible oly it does not exist. Sis. Please send the passage you meant to type so that I can respond.
You asked me: "Do you really think God intended for two men to have sex with each other? Yes or No"

My Answer: No (at least not clearly revealed in the Bible)

He never intended divorce either, He says "from the beginning it was not so" but he permitted it. (Matthew 19:3-12) And that's what I have been teaching... Notice that it is in that context that Jesus starts talking about eunichs (born and made). I don't know how that conversation makes any sense in the context of that conversation except that Jesus knew that some men would not/could not desire a woman.
