From his tattooed and pierced appearance, a short-lived marriage, the death of his father, and early retirement from the gospel industry to being dropped from Verity Records, the life and career of gospel artist Tonex (To-nay) has been marred by pain and controversy.

Throughout all the pressure, the young pastor of Truth Apostolic Community Church in San Diego has taken pride in being transparent.

In 2007, after a foul-mouthed online interview and angry YouTube posts, he issued an open letter apologizing to fans and fellow clergy for his outlandish rants.

Now, during an astonishing testimony in an exclusive interview on Word Network's "The Lexi Show," Tonex (real name Anthony Williams) lays to rest years of speculation about his sexuality and admitted he is attracted to men.

When Lexi attempts to clarify if he is a practicing homosexual, the radical artist declares he is a “free spirit.”

Among many candid details, in the following clips, Tonex acknowledges he had a nervous breakdown, says he does not blame his interest in men on being molested, that he believes in “same sex covenants” and that he wants to be a dad someday.

It won't matter soon because all these so-called 501c3's are going to have to make a choice to preach against sin and lose their status or preach rose peddles to keep it....Know it or not...the Government OWNS YOU...

COME OUT OF THE HARLOT!!! SAYS YAH
You said a mouthful with that 501(c)3 comment!!!

Glad my ministry ISN'T under such!
...Hypothetically speaking, if a gay person(s) were visiting your church tomorrow, and you were preaching from Romans chapter one, would you preach it in a way that would make them want to come back to visit or maybe join your church?...

I would hope that the preacher would preach it in the way that it PLOWS that stoney ground and PLOWS that stoney ground so that the seed of God's word is planted in their soul...God will give the increase.
Because it seems to me that unless a person knows that they sin against a God (homosexuality is a sin) whats the use of knowing that Jesus died for their sins.
I would want a preacher to preach HARD on any sin. Not pull back when it comes to sexual perversions.
And to be quite honest there is NO sermon like a sermon that speaks to my shortcomings and sins that so easily besets me. I want to grow in Christ not stay in my sin.
I would think the same thing for the HOMSEXUAL.

So what should a preacher preach from the pulpit about homosexuality?
Give me a sample of what you your message would be.
Newview, Haven't you heard,
There is a new thing happening now. Be soft on sin so that the sinners aren't offended. We can no longer say what thus saith the Lord because his word is too harsh and may cause people to not come to church anymore.

In our earthly wisdom, we have a more excellent way than the Lord and must present the gospel of today so as not to make homosexuals feel bad about their sin. The only harsh gospel we are to preach today is to those who dare come with the truth and preach the unadulterated gospel. Now, we can't have any of that....Real preachers must be stopped.....LOL (SARCASM)
lol but somewhat a true interpretation....LOL
Kimberly, I know some who have been delivered from homosexuality and those who chose to remain there in. Those who have been delivered applied the word of God to their lives and did not make excuses for their actions. They still struggle but they are not looking for sympathy but truth in the word of God.

I thank God for those who seek true deliverance.
So are you suggesting that Paul's letters are inconsistent with the teachings of Jesus???
Many see this as the Bible condoning all forms of slavery. What many fail to understand is that slavery in biblical times was very different from the slavery that was practiced in the past few centuries in many parts of the world. The slavery in the Bible was not based exclusively on race. People were not enslaved because of their nationality or the color of their skin. In Bible times, slavery was more a matter of social status. People sold themselves as slaves when they could not pay their debts or provide for their families. In New Testament times, sometimes doctors, lawyers, and even politicians were slaves of someone else. Some people actually chose to be slaves so as to have all their needs provided for by their masters.

In the United States, many black people were considered slaves because of their nationality; many slave owners truly believed black people to be inferior human beings. The Bible most definitely does condemn race-based slavery. Consider the slavery the Hebrews experienced when they were in Egypt. The Hebrew were slaves, not by choice, but because they were Hebrews. The plagues God poured out on Egypt demonstrate how God feels about racial slavery

Exo 13:14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

So, yes, the Bible does condemn some forms of slavery. At the same time, the Bible does seem to allow for other forms. The key issue is that the slavery the Bible allowed for in no way resembled the racial slavery that plagued our world in the past few centuries.

Both the Old and New Testaments condemn the practice of “man-stealing” which is what happened in Africa in the 19th century. Africans were rounded up by slave-hunters, who sold them to slave-traders, who brought them to the New World to work on plantations and farms. This practice is abhorrent to God. In fact, the penalty for such a crime in the Mosaic Law was death:

Exo 21:16 "And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death."

Similarly, in the New Testament, slave-traders are listed among those who are “ungodly and sinful” and are in the same category as those who kill their fathers or mothers, murderers, adulterers and perverts, and liars and perjurers (1 Timothy 1:8-10).

Another crucial point is that the purpose of the Bible is to point the way to salvation, not to reform society. The Bible often approaches issues from the inside out. If a person experiences the love, mercy, and grace of God by receiving His salvation, God will reform his soul, changing the way he thinks and acts. A person who has experienced God’s gift of salvation and freedom from the slavery of sin, as God reforms his soul, will realize that enslaving another human being is wrong. A person who has truly experienced God’s grace will in turn be gracious towards others. That would be the Bible’s prescription for ending slavery.

Gal 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
Thanks Bro. Newman for this clarification.
Bro Anthony - it was a whole different slave situation.
I would say the kind of slavery what was going on back then would be like like the indentured servitude.
Not the the crap George Washington's day.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Scott said: Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Brother Scott, this scripture is overlooked by those who want to say we should keep our mouths quiet about homosexuality. They don't realize that many are this way because God has already judged them. I heard a preacher say that those who are unrepentant and proud of their homosexuality, God has already given them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves. They have been judged and turned over to a reprobate mind.
