Is The Trinity Biblical?
From the Christian Research Institute

The Trinity is a basic doctrine of orthodox Christianity. Yet the word "Trinity" is not found anywhere in the Bible. Is the doctrine of the Trinity really biblical?
The doctrine of the Trinity says that there is one All Mighty One (God) who exists eternally as three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I can assure you that the elements of this doctrine are all taken directly from the Bible.
The first plank of the Trinitarian platform is that there is only one All Mighty One (God). The Bible could not be more explicit on this point, which it states explicitly about two dozen times. In Isaiah 44:8 Yahweh (The LORD) says that even He does not know of any other (mighty ones)gods!
Yahshua (Jesus) often spoke of the All Mighty One (God) as His Father, and the apostles frequently spoke of "the Almighty One (God) the Father." But the New Testament also insists that Yahshua (Jesus) is The Almighty One (God). For example, Thomas acknowledged Yahshua (Jesus) as, "My Lord(master) and my Almighty One (God)" (John 20:28), and both Peter and Paul spoke of Yahshua (Jesus) as "our All Mighty One (God) and Savior" (2 Pet. 1:1; Tit. 2:13). Yet the New Testament also makes the distinction between the Father and the Son as two very different persons. In fact they tell us that they love one another, speak to each other, and seek to glorify each other (e.g., John 17: 1-26).
The Old Testament refers often to the Holy Spirit as The Almighty One (God) at work in the world, without distinction from the Father. But Yahshua (Jesus) in John 14 to 16 explained that this Holy Spirit would be sent by the Father at the Messiah’s (Christ's) request. The Holy Spirit would teach and guide the disciples, not speaking on His own initiative, but speaking on the Messiah’s 9Christ's) behalf and glorifying The messiah (Christ). Thus, the Holy Spirit is revealed by The Messiah (Christ) to be a third person distinct from the Father and distinct from the Son.
In short, the doctrine of the Trinity is completely and totally biblical, and it is essential that all the Followers of the Messiah Yahshua (Christians) give assent to this doctrine.

The following quote is straght from then documents from the Roman Catholic Church from which you have adopted the doctrine of the Trinity:

"....the doctrine of the Trinity, as professed by the Church, is not contained in the New Testament, but that *it was first formulated in the second century and received final approbation in the fourth (century),
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/15047a.htm

You see the Trinity Doctrine" is NOT a biblical doctrine, and therefore it was created too late to qualify as belonging to "the faith once delivered to the Saints." the faith for which we are to "contend".

Neither Jesus, nor Peter, nor Paul, nor James, or any of the Gospel writers taught this false doctrine. It is not part of the apostle's doctrine. The Roman Catholic Church from which you got the doctrine even admits that this doctrine was established years after the apostles had died.

Jesus commanded us to teach what He taught. He did not teach his disciples about a Trinity. Remember John 17:1-3.

17:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you,

2 since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

3 And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

He only mentions belief in the Father and in Himself? Do you dare say He is wrong? Those of you who promote this teaching are actually saying that our Savior didn't know what He was talking about since He didn't promote believing in the Holy Ghost making the god-head a Trinity!

Think about it brothers....
Don't be found guilty of adding to His words on judgement day.
It won't be pretty....
I was just about to ask you a question about John chapter 17! Tell me, who exactly was JESUS talking to when HE prayed in John 17? PLEASE, save me the extra long babble, just simply answer the question.

Also, when Peter said that Ananias told a lie to the HOLY SPIRIT, didn't he say that the HOLY SPIRIT was GOD? A simple yes or no would be good enough here.
My Trinitarian friends:
In case you haven't read the "back of the book". it says explicitly:
"Liars go to the lake of fire."

Liars and the Lake of Fire

The Word of God expressly states in Revelation 21:8 that, " ... all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Yet, many people who claim to know and love God, routinely tell lies as if they are exempt from the above penalty recorded by the Apostle John. People often think that there are different kinds of lies. There are big lies and then there are small lies. White lies and (Black?) whole lies. Complete lies and partial lies which are, "not so bad."

Well, the Bible only knows of one type of lie, the one that will eventually take the liar to the Lake of Fire.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Regarding this Trinity doctrine, someone is lying. So there are some here who are bound for the lake of fire.
Your trinity doctrine is like your Christmas which is not part of what Jesus commanded yet you lie to the people,. saying Dec. 25 is the Lord Jesus' birthday, lying to the children about this fat white man coming down the chimney with presents for them,. telling them, that the Easter Bunny brings eggs and candy, so you dye eggs and give children candy for the pagan festival of Easter, (come on give me a witness you ":Greek Scholars") the term Easter is NOWHERE found in the Greek text of the Bible! So the lie of the Trinity is just the tip of the ice berg of the other lies you pastors teach because you got it from Mother Rome who is the "mother of harlots" of the book of revelation.
The doctrine of the Trinity is a lie
I rest my case, you Trinitarians will either see the truth of the scriptures and Jesus plain teachings or your won't, I emplore you to repent of your false teachings so you can avoid the lake of fire.
I leave this board to you Trinitarians in your darkness and false doctrines of men....
Anna, why didn't you take on the challenge of answering my questions instead of babbling?
Brother Trevor asked the following trivial questions:
“…Tell me, who exactly was JESUS talking to when HE prayed in John 17? PLEASE, save me the extra long babble, just simply answer the question.
Also, when Peter said that Ananias told a lie to the HOLY SPIRIT, didn't he say that the HOLY SPIRIT was GOD? A simple yes or no would be good enough here”.
Brother Trevor, the Bible says that:
“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus”
1Timothy 2:5
Brother, let me tell you that THE MAN CHRIST JESUS WAS TALKING TO GOD THE SPIRIT WHO WAS IN HIM.
Indeed,The Bible teaches that:
”For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on Earth or things in Heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross”.
Colossians 1:19-20
“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;”
Colossians 2:9
Don’t you believe that “…God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation”???
2 Corinthians 5:19
If you do not believe this, then you are spiritually blind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brother Trevor, let me teach you:
Indeed, the Father is called "God", it 's true!
The Son is called "God", it's true!
The Holy Spirit is called "God", it's true!
It's also true that there aren't THREE GODS, but there is ONE GOD.
If there is ONE God, it means that there is ONE PERSON.
So, FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT are TITLES of the single God, the unique PERSON, namely Jesus Christ. Amen!
Please, tell me, how can three people be only one God?
Not only, there is no biblical passage which supports this, but that indicates even a gap of reasoning. Three distinct people, although identical in their substance make three gods or the language does not have any more a sense!
The Bible declares that God is our Savior. What does it say also about Jesus?
“awaiting the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works”.
Titus 2:13-14
Jesus is not a small god beside Yahweh the great God, but Jesus Himself is our great God and Savior. Yahweh, the Savior in the Old Testament is Jesus the Savior in the New Testament Insofar as there are not two gods or two saviors. Amen!
Please, answer this question:
“To whom then will ye liken God? and what likeness will ye compare unto him?
Isaiah 40:18
God is one!!!!
Our great God and Saviour is Jesus Christ!!!
Now, brother Trevor, will you take on the challenge of answering my following questions?
Indeed, Phillip asked a question to Jesus Christ:
Question: “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us”
Our Lord Jesus Christ replied:
Answer: DON’T YOU KNOW ME PHILIP…?
“…Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?...”
We notice that Jesus didn’t reply: Don't you know HIM, Philip…?, but He replied:
DON’T YOU KNOW ME PHILIP…?
ME ! ME! ME ! ME! Amen!
WHO IS REALLY JESUS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLICAL PASSAGE ABOVE?
Brother Trevor, don’t you see the double nature of Jesus Christ?
As a MAN, He is called SON of God (John 1:14) and the MEDIATOR between God and men
(1Timothy 2:5).
But as a SPIRIT, He is called GOD, the FATHER, since GOD WAS IN HIM!!!!!
Indeed, Jesus said:
“…Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?...”
ME ! ME! ME ! ME! Amen!
So, FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT are TITLES of the single God, the unique PERSON, namely Jesus Christ. Amen!
Brother Trevor, let me tell you that in John 17, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS WAS TALKING TO GOD THE SPIRIT WHO WAS IN HIM.
TRINITY IS NOT SCRIPTURAL, IT’S JUST A DOCTRINE TAUGHT BY DEMONS!!!!
“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons”.
1Timothy 4:1
Blessings,
Brother Germain
The Trinity is a lie plain and simple.
You can not prove it to be true, You as Trevor look to the imagination of your hearts for understanding, and not the Lord God of Israel.
That is exactly what you are doing is sleeping, and it will cost you your life.
No one has really answered anything I have stated here YET, so please, don't get too comfortable saying my name because I'm not the one to challenge concerning your heresy. Again, I asked about the will of the FATHER,and the will of the Son and you never responded to it. Why is it that the Bible shows us that JESUS had a separate will from the FATHER?
It does not show that the Father has a separate will. The Hebrew call the name Elohim, which is plural. Jesus did exactly what the Father said. That is why he is considered the firstvfruits of the resurrection.
You will eat those words one day brother.
I would be if I were you. You are going to the Lake of Fire if you don't start to keep the commandments of God.
