Is your church teaching Gods commandments or man's traditions. Yes, I am aware that some traditions are to be passed down from generation to generation. But here lately I am hearing a lot more about what seems right unto man and not what God said in his word. Be careful! Are you looking for religion or salvation there is a difference?

If it was me...before leaving the church.. would first pray for them.God is able to change a whole congregation just by one man. could be you were placed there to pray against those things that hurt you .... once you left there probably others who were hurt too. But Indeed we do need Holiness and follow the 10 commandments back in the church and leave all other generic stufff that do Not glorify Christ. And please forgive as the bible tells us to.
The entire history of the western church can be traced right back to the seven hills of Rome. It stops there. It never seems to make it back to the church from Mt. Zion at Jerusalem.
Luke 2:4

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; because he was of the house and lineage of David

Just a curious observation, because Joseph did this out of tradition, the tradition was not wrong and God used it for HIS purpose, something to make you go ahhhhhhh
Surely tradition is not wrong in itself.
It is wrong when it is followed and God's commands are ignored or rejected.

Remember Jesus got on the Pharisees for doing this very thing.

I think there are wonderful traditions in the Church - ones that God probably even smiles about.
But they are never to trump God's instructions or directives.
i don't think we should deem the commandment of god, tradition???
because they were keeping the law ,coming up to jerusalem at the feast as the lord commanded
1.Exodus 23:14
Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

2.Exodus 23:17
Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the LORD God.

3.Deuteronomy 16:16
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

4.1 Kings 9:25
And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.

5.2 Chronicles 8:13
Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
Christians are not bound to observe the Jewish feasts the way an Old Testament Jew was, but we should not criticize another believer who does or does not observe these special days and feasts (Romans 14:5). Whether or not a Christian celebrates the Jewish feast days would be a matter of conscience for the individual Christian. Colossians 2:16-17 tells us “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.”

While it is not required for Christians to celebrate the Jewish feast days, it is beneficial to study them. Certainly it could be beneficial to celebrate these days if it leads one to a greater understanding and appreciation for Christ’s death and resurrection and the future promise of His coming. As Christians, if we choose to celebrate these special days, we should put Christ in the center of the celebration, as the One who came to fulfill the prophetic significance of each of them.
Where did Christians come from? Where did the word "Christian" come from? Who is your Father?
Mr Sanders writes:"
Who is your Father?"
Simply~Ha'Shem the Creator of The Multiverse.
As far as the rest of that stuff,... Ask the Imperial Church of Rome,... they Lied.
either Greek HELLenized culture and/or Acts 11:26 (antioch evil city named after family of antiYHWH antiochus)
20 yrs after Calvery.

so "Jesus" (Yeshua) nor his Disciples were "Christains" and were Nazarenes (for hidden clue look at acts 24:5)

Acts 24:5
For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of **the sect of the Nazarenes**:
Prophet, Dr., are you asking such questions to have us think, are do you really want to have a discussion study? I do think ever so often we need to ask ourselves the question "Who is my Father...because there are times that we respond to situations in mannerisms that are not characteristics of Christ who came to earth to model our heavenly Father for us.
Sister writes""Who is my Father..."
Ok In the Beginning G-d. OK so far...whatever your or anybodies perception is of who and what G-d really is. Does not really matter at the end of the day However with that written; Christ in the superficial most elementary placement simply means manifestation.. John Tried to say that those who try to sequester the manifestation of YHVH to this sick and dying world would be an anti-christ..
Which is not in anyway a Jewish term as a Biblical history student never have read any Historical or cultural document that even alluded to that thought
Hellinest Rome..?// Now that is a different flavor all together.
Paul can confuse the novice reader and the foolish at heart..But not a mature man of the Full Stature of the Man...Get this: Paul is talking Kaballah101- here~~ The full stature of the Man -Adam Kadmon [ref-Eph 4:v13]

( Romes added value makes it out to be a one man JC thing )

It is all of us~

If all we are is the Vessel that the Treasure of YHVH resides within,...Paul taught that~Then the Essence of G-d that is within us is contained while in this earth suit should not be too hard to comprehend really?

Redemption?? YHVH has a no child left behind policy...Tell your pastor to stop all the shenanigans

You can never move the hand of G-d Deut: 10:v17 states it well

Your demonation has been lying and now at this great Paradigm shift of awakening We can all see the facade quite well or at least those the scales of deception have fallen off of.
