CAN A PASTOR TELL LIES?

I WANT US ALL TO DISCUSS THIS TOPIC,FOR I KNOW THAT ,GOD SAID THAT DEVIL IS THE FATHER OF ALL THE LIERS.

@ sister angela - i have studied and abided in the word which is why i am able to make the statement i did. as scripture in the Bible has given me the knowledge to discern what is & what is not the truth. so, you see i have no fear of being "damaged" or "shaken" among the liars and false prophets...i am simply able to tell them from apart from someone who teaches thus said the Lord. so please dont misunderstand me... i am not being judgmental. i am speaking from experience that pastors ~often~ lie, and one who doesnt read for himself may not see where he is being lied to.

What does this matter? A lie is a lie. Of course all men have the ability to lie. All men who lie, don't seek permission to lie, nor do they care. How you can tell if a Preacher is lying is simply by the day of the week he attends church. The Bible says go to church on the 7th day. Sunday is clearly the 1st day, and there is no place in the Bible that sanctions the 1st day as a church day, or Holy convocation, therefore it is a lie because the Bible is the truth. Jesus said it himself. "My words, they are life, and they are truth." He even prayed to the Father, and said" Thine word is truth, Father." So, if the word is truth, and the word does not say the 1st day, then it is a lie pure and simple, and if the Preacher is attending church on the 1st day, it is a lie, whether he knows it or not, or whether he accepts it or not.

Brother Hez I don’t understand how the day someone attend church makes them a liar. Also you should really use scripture verses to prove your arguments and remember. so can I have the scripture verse that actually says a man is a liar if they attend church on any other day than the Sabbath and don’t quote give me the verse that instruct the Jews to rest and keep the 7th day of the week. I want the scripture verse that said if a man worships God on any other day of the week he is a liar. And remember that nothing should be added to or taken away from the Bible.

And understand that most people including me know that Saturday is the last day of the week the day given to the Jews to keep Holy, what some people like yourself fail to understand is why gentile Christians from the 1st century following the resurrection of Christ go choose to worship on the first day of the week. The Bible tells us that Our Saviour rose on the First day of the week and seeing as us Gentiles was given the opportunity to come into Christ following the crucifixion of our Lord and Saviour, Christians (so name because we are Christ fool) choose to celebrate his Resurrection which is the First day of the week Sunday because to us gentiles there is no other day more worthy to be worship than the day Christ got the Victory. You see God instructed the Jews to rest on the Sabbath day, however, there were no such instructions given to the Gentiles and as we see clearly the Apostle Paul who was given the mandate to bring in us Gentiles and the other Apostles did not believe it was the intention of God for all the rules pertaining to the Jews to be the same for the Gentiles ( i.e gentiles do not have to be circumcise).

I am more than happy and will continue my worship on a Sunday because had God not send His only Begotten Son to die and to be raise a Victor on the First day of the week where would we Christians be. When God gave us a chance to come into His Kingdom it was not instead of the Jews, Brother Hez so we don’t need to compete with the Jews remember their place as the chosen ones is already guarantee because of God’s promise to them they are the chosen sheep’s we are the other sheep’s so stop wasting your time on things of little importance and concentrate on the bigger picture unite and come in perfect love one with another because without this we cannot enter the Kingdom concentrate my Brother on the purpose of Jesus teaching and we should be okay he came to show us the way, he is the Truth and the Light , no man gets to the Father but through Him. Remember our God who created us deserved to be celebrated on the day that He made and since God made everyday of the day we should celebrate Christ everyday. I am in Church particular 4 days a week, You see I am alive today because of Christ so when Church is at Church I am there when its not I am still celebrating Him even when I walk, when I talk When I sleep when I am at work, when I am at home so every minute of everyday to me is the Sabbath I don’t need a special day to worship my God who made me the Victor. So Brother wake up, you and others with the same arguments remember we are already victorious, satan cannot snatch our victory but we can hand it to him on a plate and if you keep using mindless arguments like this to divide God's people then you are helping satan to snatch our victory because united we stand and divided we fall.

Romans 3:1-4 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Leviticus 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

In the end of the sabbath.So I guess that, he rose on the sabbath,and was long gone when they came on the first day of the week???

Brother Allen dont take the Scripture out of context carry on to verse 2 etc.

Now you would have a point if the started this chapter with verse 2 but they did not Verse 2 came next 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

Brother Allen What does verse 2 says in Verse 1 say in the END of the Sabbath as it began to dawn towards the FIRST DAY con the first day of the week Came Mary's

Verse 2. happenned later after they already set out and they set out at the end of the Sabbath. look at Verse 2. What happen 'And, behold, there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE: for the ANGEL OF THE LORD descended from heaven, and came and ROLLED BACK the stone from the door, and sat upon it'.

The Bible does not clearly say that he rose on the first day. My Sabbath day? It is the Lord's Sabbath Day. This what is in your King James Bible. You fight is not with me. It is with what the Bible says vs what you have been taught by man. I never said Sunday was the last day of the week.
Can you get 2 days and 3 nights from Good Friday evening to Easter Sunday Morning? Isn't that the doctrine? He died Good Friday evening and Rose Easter Sunday morning? By the way. Everybody was using the same Roman Calendar that we use today because the Lord's Sabbath actually starts at sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. But look at the calendar, and count to 7. You will see the 7th day, and that is the Sabbath of the Lord. Sunday is the worshiping of the Sun God. It is the Roman day of the sun, and that breaks 3 of god's commandments just doing it. Not having any other Gods before the Lord God, not taking the Lord's name in vain, and keeping the Sabbath Day Holy.

I think you need to read what I say you are classing Saturday as the Last day of the week therefore Sunday is the first day of the week
