In part one, I discussed the Biblical canon and debated along the lines of if the Biblical Canon was closed. This time will be a bit different. I was in a few discussions before and have heard what they teach in many churches and what they teach in many seminary schools: "The Bible canon is 66 books and the books are sealed, with no new revelation to come." Where did we come up with the teaching that there are only 66 books within GOD's Word?

The Church has been physically divided by man's differences, and have fallen into the following categories with the following Biblical Canon:

Protestant Churches: 66 books
Lutheran Churches: 66 books (however, Martin Luther made an attempt to remove the books of Hebrews, James, Jude and Revelation from the canon)
The Roman Catholic Church, & Eastern Catholic Churches: standard 66 plus the deuterocanonical books
Ethiopic Churches: 81 books (contains Enoch, Jubilees, and three books of the Meqabyan)

...and the list goes on....

Full dogmatic articulations and the closing of the Church Canons were not made until the Council of Trent of 1546 for Roman Catholicism, the Thirty-Nine Articles of 1563 for the Church of England, the Westminster Confession of Faith of 1647 for British Calvinism, and the Synod of Jerusalem of 1672 for the Greek Orthodox. Is it biblical, traditional, or just an assumption? Is it accurate or deceiving?

I guess my question is this: Who decided your Bible's number of books, and was GOD involved in this?

Sis, they cant take over anything if we defend it.
Chaplain,

I think I've been here before you steped foot on BPN. I am not hijacking anyone. FYI, I was a Christian when I came to this site ;). Then, Yah called me out of Babylon, and into the truth.
James & Hezekiah,

There have been other threads that had nothing to do with keeping the Torah, yet every time you guys begin to post your comments, it ends up with "obey the commandments or keep the Torah." THIS IS HIJACKING!

I am fully aware this is a public forum, but it is you guys that turn the majority of these threads into debates. For example, under the topic by RevZ62 entitled The Connection Line, it wasn't long before it became a platform for a debate over the Torah.
Chaplain,

I wasn't looking for debating, but the establishment of the truth. The truth does cause debate, that is for sure!
Trevor,

I never accused you of being RC, or a Free Mason.
2 outta 5 aint bad, right James?

Oh please.....
No accused you of anything. I asked the question if you were a Free Mason. Then I said that you have to be a free Mason with the doctrine you come with. I never said that you actually were. If anyone does the accusing it is you Brother Trevor, but you have toned down alot, and it is much appreciated. We only bring the scriptures. If a question is asked that I don't know the answer. I simply don't reply, or I email someone who would have the answer, and ask them to reply on the forum with the answer. What we need to do is agree that we are too keep the commandments, and that is where we can come to a common ground. The whole point of the Bible is the increase of knowledge of the Lord, and his plan for man's salvation.
"I asked the question if you were a Free Mason. Then I said that you have to be a free Mason with the doctrine you come with. I never said that you actually were."

Thats an accusation!!

"If anyone does the accusing it is you Brother Trevor, but you have toned down alot, and it is much appreciated."

Yea I toned it down, but I don't deny that I did. In fact, unlike you, I can admit that when I accused you of something I meant to do just that: bring up an accusation. Its for you to answer to now.

"If a question is asked that I don't know the answer. I simply don't reply, or I email someone who would have the answer, and ask them to reply on the forum with the answer."

Why not be an adult who has some type of consideration and just say "I don't know yet, but I'll find out"? Many a time we have been asked questions that we didn't know the answer to and we had to acknowledge it. Never before did you do the same. Thats shameful!
Chaplain,

Great question. Trevor has many great biblical things to say, but believing whether or not Enoch was inspired or not was not the why Israel went into captivity. They went into captivity because they neglect the Torah of Yah. If Torah was not the only way of obedience to Yah, then Israel might not have suffered the way they did. When you neglect the Torah, you neglect the love of Yah.
I have to ask: what exactly does that have to do with the Canon of Scripture?
E,

There is less evidence that Native Americans, Hawaiians, and Jamaicans, are descendants of Israelites. There are in abundance of evidence of Israelite ancestry of North Africans(Moroccans, Libyans, Egyptians, Tunisians, etc). Yemenites have some Israelite ancestry, Iraqis have some, etc.

DNA evidence proves that the Jews in Israel today, even though many of them are of European descent, are indeed Israelites. Most Black Hebrews I know use bias rather than DNA evidence. It is time to see real truth, and not what we think is truth.

Here is the point for a follower Jesus...the Spiritual is superior to the Natural.
So all that worrying and glorying in the flesh that you do - you need to look to the Spiritual because thats where its at, baby!!

Like Paul - a Hebrew of the Hebrew - once he knew Christ - what he was naturally was as dung. It did not add up to a hill of beans.
