Are pastors who allowed their wives to preach and teach over men in the congregation disobeying God?

[20] For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

And this;

Rom.3
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Now that that's cleared up.....where are we going with this?

What does the bible say? Eve sinned but being that she came from Adam he was counted as the sinner...the bible clearly tells us who sinned..LOL
SIN CAME INTO THIS WORLD THROUGH A WOMAN...

1 Timothy 2:14
And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. It was man who was first created, but woman who first led into the transgression. For these reasons a burden was laid on women which is spoken of in 1Ti 2:15.



2:14 And Adam was not deceived - The serpent deceived Eve: Eve did not deceive Adam, but persuaded him. Thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, Gen 3:17. The preceding verse showed why a woman should not usurp authority over the man. this shows why she ought not to teach. She is more easily deceived, and more easily deceives. The woman being deceived transgressed - The serpent deceived her, Gen 3:13, and she transgressed.


this is not to say Adam didn't sin...this is to show why women are not to teach OR HAVE AUTHORITY OVER MEN...because she sinned first...or else the headship would be equal...
but it isn't the man is the head...

Amen...which is the point of the discussion started.
Women are not to have authority over men as thus saith the scriptures.
Not in her house or in the Lords house.

And this is what God's word says;

You later say;

So the bible says Adam sinned and you acknowledge that Adam sinned.

Now is the point you are trying to make is the fact that Eva sinned first?

I agree with you concerning the fact that God made man the head of both His church and family...that's just the way God did it. Just as He made Israel the vessel to tell the rest of the sons of Adam His true word, so is it with the male being the head.

I'm just trying to get through this whole Adam decieved/Eve sinned issue!

LOL... Eccl 12-13, that is where the discussion veered off. We KNOW what the topic of discussion is... Its at the top of every screen. But a discussion is lively because alive people are discussing and sometimes the main topic is set aside when there is a conflict in statements.

I guess I was not wording it correctly Ecc 12-13, because what you have said here is what I've been pointing at since Preacher first said that Adam didn't sin.

For some reason, when I only talking about the Adam not sinning statement its conceived as me stating that women are allowed to Pastor in the church. Although women Pastors is the main question of the discussion... I wasn't addressing that.

Thats not true Sister Fugett. The bible most definately instructs women to teach.
I think its who she teaches. She would get more bang for her buck if she taught the young sisters that are in a bad way these days especially.
I wish to God that women whohave the gift of teaching and who are filled with much Godly wisdom would turn away from doing the exact opposite of what Paul by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost instructed the church on such matter this important matter.

Additionally, I believe she can share what God has done for her to anyone.
But she (Christian woman) must not disobey the Lord like mother Eve.
Eve sinned and Adam -----> followed his woman.
The leaders (men) in the church are falling for the same ol rope-a-dope like father Adam.

Lets just stick with the script and follow the instructs of how God's church is to be run and see if it works out better than our own ideas on the matter.
