Salvation is it eternal regardless of the circumstances or not come on lets get everyone’s opinion

But what is your take on what would have happened if the prodigal son or anyone who had received salvation backslides by rejecting the Father, His Son, the Holy Ghost and totally turned away from the faith and DIED without having repented or had the opportunity to return to the fold. Would that person be heading for hell or heaven? This is a conversation that came up with a couple of my work colleague when we were in an after discussion on Luke 15:11-32 so I would be interested in having a discussion and receiving everyone's point of view.

But Preacher these people we are discussing were not driven away by God they willing walk away. Judas was given by God to Jesus but he still walk away Jesus said All that the Father gave him he lost none BUT ONE THE SON of perdition.

So Preacher if Jesus can say he loss one that was given to him who are you to say all these Scriptures which clearly state these are wrong. In Ezekiel 18:23 God shows how the WICKED can live and not die but in Ezekiel 18:24 God is showing how the Righteous man could die and not live Preacher there is no other explanation this Scripture tells it as it is. Verse 24 is not about the wicked, it is not about so call righteous, it is plain and simple about the RIGHTEOUS MAN there is no baby here for you to pull the wool over the eye I am here Preacher to ensure you don't err in your way by thinking you can live as you like and get to heaven it is my job and the job of every Christian to try and make sure we all make it.

Please don’t look for things to disprove this verse which is as plain as the Day.

:Preacher go back over the conversations from the beginning no one else is standing with you they all have the same view I have so when you insult my knowledge on the Scripture you are wrong both on that and on the stance you are taking.

I have seen people who have serve faithfully for years spent 60 years (more years than I have been on this earth) preaching and praising God turn their back on God because a love one die or they ask God for something and did not get it. It was recently a sister of mine came across a old preacher of retirement age when she ask him about Church ‘he snapped her head off that she should not mention God or Church to him because they are all hypocrite. This man a born again Preacher Spend the best part of his life faithfully serving God then he lost something precious to him and it is all God’s fault. He already has one foot in the grave unless he repent all his years of righteousness will be forgotten if he dies in sin.

Preacher please don’t be responsible for deluding others into thinking everything will be okay if they go out and murder someone or rape someone because they are born again that they will go to heaven without having to say sorry for leaving the narrow path even if you want to delude your self.

The punishment for deluding others or preventing their righteous walk with God will be far greater than if you only delude yourself.
One cannot turn from being saved...God doesn't go around saving people in vain...he knows the end from the beginning..God is not like we are...David murdered someone...this is not to say murder isn't wrong Its wrong..but the bible says nothing can pluck us who are truly born again from the fathers hands...

after a person have truly been born again...there is nothing that can separate them from the love of God...

Romans 8 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A conclusion of all the former discussion, from Ro 1:16 to this verse: seeing that we, being justified by faith in Christ, obtain remission of sins and imputation of righteousness, and are also sanctified, it follows from this that those who are grafted into Christ by faith, need have no fear of condemnation.

here we see nothing can separate us from salvation...

No one said one cannot repent from sin. You are really showing a lack of understanding for the scriptures David COMMITTED sin Preacher the difference is he repented.

what else would you say...? we who are of God know what you say isn't from God...I've given proof after proof...but you and others are blinded from truth...

sin and was paid for 2000 years ago. There is therefore. The therefore points to the argument of chapter 7, which shows that in Christ we are delivered from sin and from the curse of the law.

No condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. As those in Christ have died with him, Ro 6:1-4, they have in him satisfied the law, and hence they cannot be under condemnation. He, the sinless One, was made sin for us; so we, forgiven through him, are made the righteousness of God in him (2Co 5:21). This blessed condition depends on a vital union with Christ. Baptized into Christ (Ro 6:3), we must walk in him, not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Compare Joh 15:1-7 Eph 1:23.
walking after the spirit means being saved...truly saved born again from above...you'r problem seem to be obvious, that you are placing your trust in you...and not in Christ's work on the cross...It seems you believe you did something to become saved, and thus can do something to become un-saved..LOL

Preacher I say give up because you are now tying up yourself on these verses in an effort to win the point. You are distorting verses after verses in trying to twist them to suit your arguments which are no good especially when you use Arguments such as David committed murder and is still save that shows you have not fully grasped the argument to which you have committed yourself so to save you from further ignorance I have advice you give up.

However, if you believe there is a possibility of your eyes being open and you wish to continue that’s fine however, Preacher don’t continue because I am a woman and you feel to give up would lose face. We are all Gods children and we are here to assist each other in knowledge.

I am fortunate in that God has gifted me in part the gift of breaking down /exhortation on Scriptures, your area of strength is something else it has nothing to do with losing face.

Preacher I still love you as my Brother my wish is to have you on that first flight. I think especially as I cannot persuade you we should agree to have a difference of opinion and I pray you will sincerely ask for revelation on Ezekiel 18:24 God Bless
Believers may be chastened of the Lord, but will not be condemned with the world. By their union with Christ through faith, they are thus secured. What is the principle of their walk; the flesh or the Spirit, the old or the new nature, corruption or grace? For which of these do we make provision, by which are we governed? The unrenewed will is unable to keep any commandment fully. And the law, besides outward duties, requires inward obedience. God showed abhorrence of sin by the sufferings of his Son in the flesh, that the believer's person might be pardoned and justified. Thus satisfaction was made to Divine justice, and the way of salvation opened for the sinner. By the Spirit the law of love is written upon the heart, and though the righteousness of the law is not fulfilled by us, yet, blessed be God, it is fulfilled in us; there is that in all true believers,
Preacher I am going to ask you a question which I would appreciate if you could answer. As a Preacher do you or have you ever preach repentance to your congregation (born again believers) and do you ever preached to the born again believers from the Pauline Epistle i.e Ephesians 4:1 Galatians 5:1 etc.
Preacher please see Ezekiel 3:20-21 you have a responsibility to warn the righteous if you see him doing inquity if you ignore him and allow him to continue in sin and he dies the Lord require his blood from your hand Preacher. Here again is another verse telling it is possible for the righteous to committ sin I pray for your sake you and anyone else who dont believe a righteous can die in sin will take heed after reading all these verses.

Ezekiel 3
20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

21 Nevertheless, if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
the wordS righteous man..doesn't mean born again man...Jesus said he came to save sinners not the RIGHTEOUS... play on words...there are no righteous without Chrit...what Jesus is saying he CAME TO SAVE SINNERS all have sinned...BUT HE DIDN'T COME TO SAVE THOES WHO THINK THEY ARE ALREADY RIGHTEOUS... Eze...is saying the samething...if a ( self righteous ) man turn..not a truly righteous man..
pray for wisdom sister...
GB
Preacher you pray for wisdom because after you are save you are suppose to walk the righteous path so that means you are righteous that means you are now righteous if you are save. Once you are walking the righteous walk and if you sin you start walking the unrighteous path again
Ephesians 1:4
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

He expounds the next final cause which is twofold, that is, sanctification and justification, And by this also two things are to be noted, that is, that holiness of life cannot be separated from the grace of election: and again, whatever pureness is in us, is the gift of God who has freely of his mercy chosen us.
God then, did not choose us because we were, or otherwise would have been holy, but to the end we should be holy.

I've explained it to you...now you can do what you want with it...but God was in no way suggesting a righteous saved born again justified man can turn from God...anyone who is truly born again could never even think that was possible...when you know the Lord you know there is nothing to turn to...

Preacher I told you to give up why do you persist
