Dr. Jackson, I am a female Evangelist, my calling and my purpose is between me and God, I'm a living witness that when you obey God and not man, God will open doors.
God has set order.
God is the head of man and man is the head of woman.
Many women want to use Deborah as their leadership role model however, Deborah was just as Hillary Clinton is- A REPRESENTATIVE for the nation- NOT a pastor.
Then, they want to say that God says we are all the same in spirit that is true, however God has set order in this earth and that must be followed. Just because you feel like you are doing the will of God does not mean ou can be disobedient to His Word and do as you please. Remember, Jesus said some will stand before Him saying all that they've done in His name and they will not be acknowledged- so please don't think because somebody gave you a title that God is pleased with disobedience.
God has placed man and the head and that should be followed- regardless of what the feminist movement and women's liberation says- NEITHER of these belong in the house of God.
When the house is out of order- everything is out of order.
God is in His place- man needs to be in his place and woman needs to be in her place.
Personally, there is nothing more unnerving to me than a soft man and aggressive woman. Honestly, there is nothing wrong with a woman preaching, teaching, evangelizing but when as far as a woman being a pastor, elder, minister, bishop, arch bishop, (apostle can be examined), and the rest of these male-dominated titles I don't agree- especially when some of the women holding these titles are mannish in their ways.
We need to do better.
I see all that was posted here however, the church WAS in order when it was set up as God has set up His earthly families.
These men and women can do as they please but Lester won't be sitting under a woman as his pastor unless God Himself reveals that- and I doubt He will seeing that He will do nothing outside or besides what He has already put in His Word.
Where the scriptures are silent we should be silent as well and do what scripture has already stated.
It just amazes me how we can explain away what we don't want to agree with in scripture and we can make work and "explain" with some Greek and Hebrew what we do agree with.
If that is the way it is then so be it- whatver happens when Jesus comes let Him sort it out.
"I would like to ask you this Brother Lester, if the Bible said it was ok to submit to a woman Pastor, could you? Or do you have other reasons why you wouldn't submit to a woman besides what you believe the Bible says."

If the Bible had said that I am to submit to a woman then I would have to do what the Bible said to do but seeing that it has not- I will not.
I also notice you trying to imply that I have an issue with women. You can put that rest Sis. Warren. I was raised by a single mother so trying to imply that I have an issue with women is ridiculous.
If Galatians 3:28 is doctrine for for us allowing women to be pastors then why is this SAME scripture used AGAINST homosexuals who want to be saved and yet be homosexual?
I mean, there is no male or female in Christ, right?
This scripture has NOTHING to do with church order and/or authority it speaks of salvation and who can be saved and be righteous in Him. We need to rightly divide the Word and not try to make something is what it is not.
You cause the doctrine of a church to go down a slippery slope when you decide what you will accept and what you won't accept. The church is going down a path that God will not help us out of if we continue to do as we want just because we can.
If we followed the Word as we should we wouldn't have these issue but because the church wants to use the world's standards as their "bible" we have the issues we have today.
Until someone can PROVE that God has called a woman to pastor (which no one has) then I will do as the Word has said to do.
Where the Bible is silent- we should be silent as well and do as God has told us to do.
The only person that forbids women preachers is Paul. But, Paul was not forbidding women preaching because "the bible said so", rather, he was forbidding it on certain circumstances with the city where the Church was located.
nothing is wrong for a woman of god to serven in the church , god can use who he will. in him was male and female.
If she is empowered, and called of GOD, then get up and get going!!! JESUS said "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few, therefore pray the LORD of the harvest send laborers into the field". We pray for Him to do it, but we have a problem with finding Ruth in the field next to us. Whats wrong with this picture?
