Matthew 22:23-40 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. And last of all the woman died also. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine. But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

How do you love God? by having no other God's before him, by not taking his name in vain, by not dealing on idols or graven images, by keeping his Sabbath Day Holy, by keeping his dietary law, by keeping his Feasts, by keeping his cleanliness laws

How do you love your neighbor as you love yourself? You don't steal from them, you don't kill them, you don't lie to them or on them, you don't commit adultery with their spouse, you don't covet their things..

Romans 13:8-10

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

This is how these 2 commandments hang all the law.... This is the Love of God that we keep his commandments...

Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

1John 5:1-3 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John 14: 14-15 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Now This is the scriptures...... No interpretation...

I showed you the definition of Love in the Bible.. The love of God is the keeping of his commandments...
Please don't stone me to death for bringing the truth freely..
I rejoined your definition of love carefully, with scriptural references, in my first post. You ignored it. Your only answer to me: "you reply with the imagination of your heart." Amazing now that you feel you are a victim. Laughable really. I challenged your statements, but you attacked me personally. So you're the one with stones in his hand... I have not tried to harm you at all.
I never attacked you.. personally.. I rebuked your doctrine.. If you read the scriptures I put down.. The Love of God is the keeping of his commandments.. That is the Bible's definition of Love. The Bible's definition of Sin is the breaking of his Love or commandments...

I don't not worry with the vessel. Just what comes out of the mind of the vessel.. In other words, who you are means nothing to me Brother Gill.. You are just a vessel.. What are you filled with? The Word or your own thoughts?
Stop looking at me.. read the scriptures I post..

This was good. You can also add to Loving your neighbor as yourself in these scriptures:
Luke 10:26-38 (King James Version)

26He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

29But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

30And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
Loving your Neighbor is keeping the commandments..

I keep bumping these threads up because they are relevant to truth.. Most everybody on this network post the imagination of their own hearts, and not the Word of God.. Nobody cares for your opinions of the Word.. Post the scriptures of the Precept you are teaching if you are a real teacher.... This is for anybody who post their own thouts of the Word.. Here is the purpose of man: TO BECOME ONE BODY, AND ONE MIND CALLED ISRAEL , TO BE GODS IN JERUSALEM. SOME RULING WITH CHRIST, AND SOME TO ETERNAL DAMNATION..
