Does the following sound familiar?—Spring is in the air! Flowers and bunnies decorate the home. Father helps the children paint beautiful designs on eggs dyed in various colors. These eggs, which will later be
hidden and searched for, are placed into lovely, seasonal baskets. The
wonderful aroma of the hot cross buns mother is baking in the oven waft
through the house. Forty days of abstaining from special foods will
finally end the next day. The whole family picks out their Sunday best
to wear to the next morning’s sunrise worship service to celebrate the
savior’s resurrection and the renewal of life. Everyone looks forward to
a succulent ham with all the trimmings. It will be a thrilling day.
After all, it is one of the most important religious holidays of the
year.

Easter, right? No! This is a description of an ancient Babylonian family—2,000 years before Christ.

Whats the truth behind this holiday called Easter? Is it of GOD, or of something else? If you offer it on the alter of GOD, will the FATHER's fire of approval fall on it as it fell on Elijah's offering, or will there be silence as like the Prophets of Jezebel?

Trevor I don't get any emails stating you or anyone replied to this post! So here I am however many days these comments were posted. Anyway to answer your Questions Trevor: Is CHRIST His own Father? Answer :Did God come down from heaven and robe HIMSELF in flesh as Jesus Christ? Did He send Himself? How many gods do you see? Will He submit to Himself?Jesus prayed for the sake of the people. As a "man," he set the example. But according to your false doctrine he is Co-equal! Can God pray to God and still be God? People say that the Son died, but you declare Him to be the Father, so who died on the cross, the Son or the FATHER or both? Jesus in his Humanity died but God Didn't! Trevor until you Pray and seek Jesus you are blinded to the truth!
Trevor if you know so much please answer these questions of many?
Mark 14:11…………Jesus is in the Father and the Father in the Son, why isn't the Holy Ghost?
Mark 20:22……………...Receive the third person? Sender greater? Co-equal?
Matthew
1:18, 20 Why is the Holy Ghost the father? Does Jesus have a surrogate Father?

The Father is NOT the Father!

1:23 "God with us." Is this the Trinity with us? What does "God" mean in a
Trinity? Is it the "three persons?" See John 1:1

3:3 Who is Jehovah? Isa. 40:3 Is it the Trinity? Or the Father?

3:11 Jesus is to baptize believers with the Holy Ghost?

Why can't the Holy Ghost baptize believers with "himself?"

3:16 Who is the "Spirit of God?" Isn't God a Spirit? John 4:24 Is this
the
3rd person? Or all three "persons?

3:17 A voice does not necessitate "another person." At least when we are talking
about God! What is spoken indicates that the Holy Ghost is speaking by

what is said, since the Holy Ghost is the Father, Matt. 1:18,20. Also, see Num.

22:28-30. Luke 19:40. Its not
hard for God to speak or cause a bird to appear!

Also, consider John 5:37,
no man has heard God's voice?

5:16 Why is the Father the only one to receive glory? What about the "others?"

5:45 Are we not children of the Son and Holy Ghost?

5:48 Is the Father "perfect" and not the Son or Holy Ghost?

6:1,4,6,18 Why is the Father the only one to reward?

6:8-13 Why are the Son and Holy Ghost not mentioned in the Lord's prayer?

6:14-15 Why is the Father the only one mentioned to forgive sin?
The Holy Ghost is never said to be able to forgive?

6:24 Can't serve two masters? What about three?

6:32 Why doesn't the Son or Holy Ghost know?

7:12 Why doesn’t the Son or Holy Ghost "give?"

7:21 What about the Son and Holy Ghost "will?"

9:6 What about the Holy Ghost?

10:20 Father speaks? Isn't this the Holy Ghost duty?

10:22 What about the Father's name? Holy Ghost name?

10:32-33 What about the Son? The Holy Ghost?

10:40 What about the Holy Ghost?

11:25-27 What about the Holy Ghost? Doesn't know the Father or Son?

12:18, 28 Which Spirit? Father's? Son's? Or Holy Ghost? There is ONLY One Spirit!

12:31-32 What about blasphemy against the Father?

12:50 Does the Holy Ghost not have a will?

13:43 Why don't the Son and Holy Ghost have a "kingdom?"

16:17 Is it the Holy Ghost duty to reveal, teach, and guide?
The Father is out of his role here!

16:27 Does the Holy Ghost not reward?

17:4 Did Peter know about the Trinity?
Why not build a tabernacle for the Father and Holy Ghost also?

17:5 Who spoke? Matt. 1:18, 20, John 5:37.
Why is the Holy Ghost not mentioned here?

18:10 Does the Son and Holy Ghost have a face also? What kind of monster is God?

18:14 Does the Holy Ghost not have a will?

18:19 What will the Holy Ghost do? Nothing?

18:35 Son and Holy Ghost have no say in our forgiveness?

19:17 One God!!

20:23 Son and Holy Ghost not prepare anything? Were the places not already taken?
What about Co-equal?

23:8-10 What role does the Holy Ghost play? Left out?

23:22 "Him" that sitteth on the throne? Only one?

24:36 Goes thru the list, and omits the Holy Ghost? No man, Angels, but the Father.

25:31 The son will sit on the Throne!

25:34 Son and Holy Ghost do not bless?

26:39, 42, 53 Why did Jesus NOT pray the Holy Ghost? He's the "helper!"

26:64 Where are the Father and Holy Ghost?
28:18 All power in one? Co-equal?

28:19 Single name that can refer to the Father, Son and Holy Ghost! That's JESUS!

12:29-31………Jesus believed in One God!

12:32………….One God! None but he!

12:35-37………Where is the Holy Ghost? Does this mean the Son was bumped from the
throne? See OT visions. No sign of the Son on right hand. Acts 7:55-56 is
the only place. See. Rev. 4:2-3

13:11………….Father and Son will not help us? What about Matt. 16:17
Did the Father act out of turn?

John

1:1-2………….What does "God" mean here? Father? Or Trinity? If simply Father, why is
it so important to acknowledge just the "Word" and NOT the Holy Ghost
also? And if God means Trinity then you have two Sons! Why does it not
just say "Son?" That is, IF it would apply!

1:6……………Who sent John? God and the Word? God? The Trinity?

1:14…………..Co-eternal? Begotten of the Father? But Matt. 1;18, 20, says that the Holy

And the Holy Ghost?

3:13………….Son in two places? Or two Sons?

3:15, 16……...Belief in the Son gives eternal life! Not in the Trinity!
We are NEVER told to believe the Trinity!

4:23…………..Father is the only one seeking worship!
What about the Son and Holy Ghost?

4:24…………..How many Spirits? Eph. 4:4

Mark 20:31……………...The Bible is not a complete history book. It does not give every little
detail about everything. But it does give enough to know that Jesus is
the Christ, and that by believing you can have life in His Name! What
about the Father's name? The Holy Ghost? Does it give enough to
believe in a Trinity? The Bible NEVER instructs us to believe in a
Trinity!
So trevor you say my doctrine has many errors you should look at yours by answering these questions!! you will see your doctrine of the Trinity contradicts itself!!!!
In light of the many questions Jesus raises here, the reader should be left with one answer! Jesus was not the "second person" in a Trinity, but he was the manifestation of the One and Only True God! The One Eternal Spirit who spoke in different ways. In light of the Evidence, when you know Jesus you know the One True God!
This is one of the few times I read all of your rant, and I must say, you contradict yourself more than I even realized! Lets break it down a bit:

- You said "Did God come down from heaven and robe HIMSELF in flesh as Jesus Christ? Did He send Himself? How many gods do you see? Will He submit to Himself?Jesus prayed for the sake of the people. As a "man," he set the example. But according to your false doctrine he is Co-equal".

No GOD didn't robe Himself, the Bible says that the Father prepared a body for His Son. The Son served the Father's will (Psalms 40; Hebrew 10). My "false doctrine" says that JESUS is co-equal to the Father because those were the very word of Apostle Paul (Philippians 2:5-6). Therefore, call him the heretic before you call me one.

- You said: "Can God pray to God and still be God? People say that the Son died, but you declare Him to be the Father, so who died on the cross, the Son or the FATHER or both? Jesus in his Humanity died but God Didn't! Trevor until you Pray and seek Jesus you are blinded to the truth!"
Yes GOD can pray to GOD and still be GOD. GOD died on the Cross, but the Father didn't die there, the Son did. Both David and Solomon were reigning as king of Israel at the same time, and yet they are both their own person (1st Kings 1:45-47). This was possible because the father was honored by and through his son, and the son was honored by and through his father. They were literally at that point co-equal before the people, yet the father was greater than the son in the throne-room. You have this misconception that The Son couldn't be GOD if He's not the Father. Both are GOD, and yet they are totally their own being. YHWH the Father is honored by and through His Son, and the Son is honored by the Father. The Father loves the Son and the Son loves the Father. They are the perfect example of love, honor, and respect, things that Satan comes against. You are literally preaching a false Gospel and are believing the words of Satan if you believe that JESUS is the Father, because you do away with the perfect example of the Father loving His Son if you make JESUS both Father and His own Son.
Trevor You are misinterpreting what I am saying! The Father and Jesus are one in the same ! We have one God which is A Spirit! Jn 4:24So if I have said Jesus is the Father I mean The Father DWELT IN HIM! (The Sonship is the humanity part))So what did Jesus say to Phillip when he said Show us the Father?
John 14:8-10 (King James Version)

8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

david, d. c.970 B.C., king of ancient Israel (c.1010–970 B.C.), successor of Saul. The Book of First Samuel introduces him as the youngest of eight sons who is anointed king by Samuel to replace Saul, who had been deemed a failure. The Goliath story underscores his divine election and leads to Saul's obsession with killing him. On the death of Saul and Jonathan in battle, David assumes the throne in Second Samuel. The assassination of a rival king, Ishbosheth, in the north allows David to be crowned king of a united kingdom.
With the capture of Jerusalem, David moves his capital there and plans the construction of a temple. Through prophetic mediation, however, God declares David's successor as the future builder, who will build a “house.” God promises to establish the kingdom of his son as an everlasting kingdom. From this promise derives the later hope of a royal Messiah (“anointed one”) as an agent of God's establishment of an eschatological kingdom.
Second Samuel charts an era of decline beginning with David's adultery with Bath-sheba and the murder of her husband. Anarchy prevails among his children, leading to the revolt and usurpation of the throne by his son Absalom. David's son by Bath-sheba, Solomon, is nominated king and successor by David, though this was challenged by another son Adonijah. Nevertheless, David remains the model for subsequent monarchs of Israel.
David's musical skill became proverbial, and many psalms were attributed to him. Most of the narrative that recounts David's decline is omitted in the Book of Chronicles. The New Testament confesses Jesus as the “Christ” (Messiah) descended from David, and David is also attested in the Qur'an. Archaelogical excavations have failed, however, to find evidence that would confirm the existence of a powerful and unified Davidic kingdom. End quote…

(jkn8 not only does green mis-state well know history--he goes even further and indicates that this is possible…because

This was possible because the father was honored by and through his son, and the son was honored by and through his father.__-green

Jkm8 mr green is comparing the so-called virgin birth of chirist (his god) with sinful berth of Solomon (david and sheba the dark)…david is the one whom divided the 8 tribes as his name suggests---the Hebrew people as did his son Solomon---Solomon seeds are spread all around the world word---yet Solomon is not a direct descendant of the Hebrew line in the order of godly men…not to say that god was not in Solomon but to say that Solomon adhered to the beliefs of other gods.

They were literally at that point co-equal before the people, yet the father was greater than the son in the throne-room. --green

Greens very next sentence---follows the same line of fallacy--what is the meaning of co-equal (?)--at any rate equal is equal --meaning no matter where u have
Father =/is son then the father and son would be equal in all things; throne-room not excluded---
(whatever the throne room or threshing floor is)

Dear Trevor to believe that God died is wrong because God can not die. This is what you said: (Yes GOD can pray to GOD and still be GOD. GOD died on the Cross, but the Father didn't die there, the Son did.) You say God can be Jesus but God is not the Father. You tell me you believe that Jesus is not God but you just said that God died and according to the Bible the one that died was Jesus Christ and you are saying that Jesus is God but you are saying God is not the Father and that means two separate God's and that is totally against Bible! God is the Father and he is a Spirit and you can not kill a Spirit and to prove you are wrong :God did robe himself in flesh why don't you read and study 1st Timothy 3:16 and read John 1:1-3, 14 and you will find that Jesus is God made flesh. Jesus even said to Phillip When you have seen me you have seen the Father, ok now if you say Jesus is not the Father then you are calling Jesus a liar. When satan tempted Jesus to go off the mountain, it was Jesus he was tempting not God right? Well Jesus looked to satan an said it is written thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Jesus was telling satan not to temp God in other words he was telling him that he is God and not to tempt him. You need to study your bible more then you have because no where in the whole Bible does it give us anything about saying that Jesus and God are separate.
deus can robe or form himself in anything--
as della knows ---the fact that deus god had to form himself as a man shows how bad things had become on earth---
what took place was that man began to worship the image of god jesus as opposed to god deus (god himself)---
many people whom have never even read a book ---or can see or hear can be children of deus--
oneness is oness its hard but its oneness--
its poverty in the world eyes but riches in the eyes of those that know truth--

Trevor You Said: Yes GOD can pray to GOD and still be GOD. So what you have is two separate gods then in a trinity! Your own Doctrine contradicts itself!!!
god is praying to another god! This is false Trevor! But rather Jesus in His humanity needed help from God and Prayed being submissive to the Father. As we read and study the bible you will see Jesus at certain times performed His role as God and Other times as a man. God never stopped being God at any different time. God is Omnipresent!
When was the last time you read Hebrews 1? In that chapter, you have GOD speaking to GOD. Am I crazy, or does it not say so?

And you contradict yourself by saying: "As we read and study the bible you will see Jesus at certain times performed His role as God and Other times as a man."

Since when did JESUS stop being GOD? He always worked as GOD. Your doctrine says that His "duel natures" also provides Him "duel minds and personalities", for HE literally says this in the Scriptures:

Matthew 26:39 "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."

JESUS prayed to His Father do be able to do His Father's will, not His own will. This is LITERALLY a show of two separate wills being mentioned here. Two wills show two separate minds.
Trevor You are crazy because in Hebrews 1 God is speaking to the Angels!According to Hebrews 9:14, Christ offered Himself through the eternal Spirit to God. The subject of the verse is the blood of Christ, so obviously the verse speaks of the human, mediatorial role of Christ. How did Christ make His great sacrifice? He did so through His divine nature - the eternal Spirit - which is none other than the Father. Jesus prayed to the Father in Gethsemane and received strength from Him to endure the crucifixion. This verse simply teaches that Christ was able to offer up His human body to God through the help of the Spirit of God.

Hebrews 1 (New International Version)

Hebrews 1
The Son Superior to Angels
1In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

5For to which of the angels did God ever say,
"You are my Son;
today I have become your Father[a]"[b]? Or again,
"I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son"[c]? 6And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
"Let all God's angels worship him."[d] 7In speaking of the angels he says,
"He makes his angels winds,
his servants flames of fire."[e] 8But about the Son he says,
"Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever,
and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy."[f] 10He also says,
"In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
11They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
12You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end."[g] 13To which of the angels did God ever say,
"Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet"[h]? 14Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
