Could it be that we don't want to be delivered

Thank you Pastor Hugley, for your comment and it is true that some people do not want to be free from what they are in. I do not believe that to be the case of everyone. Is it possible for two people to be saved and have the same problem, the one person is delivered instantly and the other has a struggle to be free. Lets say that the person who is free, now has no compassion for the one who is still in a struggle. They will say that if God did it for them, He can do it for the other person too, if they have faith and want it bad enough. (and this is true) But is it possible to have two different testimonies for God. One would have the story of instant deliverance, while the other has the story of never give up on God; for His time is not ours. The person in the struggle, cannot commutate with the person that was delivered instantly , for if the person stays in the struggle to long, we will say that they do not want to be delivered. On the other hand, someone who has the story, of having to wait on God , that person will not encourage their sin, but tell them to wait on God for His time is not our time. Deliverance will come. So It may not be that they do not want to be delivered, just that God is bringing them out another way. All for His glory and to help someone else.

Praise Him! so-o-o True. Some like the mess that they are in. It is sad to say I have dealt with some that do not want to obey God. It is according to your faith too. Some truly want to be delivered, but feel unworthy and give up on God being the loving Father that he is. Their low self esteem sometimes hinders their progress. We can find many scenarios to support this. That is why we must strengthen our faith walk.Sometimes we are forgiven by God and have not forgiven our selves. We must trust God to be faithful and true to His people. I'm so glad for all of us that He is a GOD of second chances.
