Its sooo funny to me. I pray all laugh with me and be not offened. My goodness I look at the topics of dicussions and not to many things minister about single christians. Some promoting others ministry and themselves lol. It is tuff being single in this hour. I really do try to live up to God standards. But we as single christians do need to share the real deal on issues and How to seek God for a mate and living celibate and holy before God. God bless you. Love you all

I agree this is a topic that needs to be discussed.  I am a single's leader in my church and I have an organization for single women. it is my mission to talk real talk about singleness.  The fact of the matter is most people don't want to hear about singleness, they just want to find out how to get married.  I have had to learn how to value my singleness, how to use it as a tool for growth in my own spiritual life, and how to allow God to transform my mind while I am in this single season of my life.  In short I have learned how to value singleness. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that anyone should remain single, unless of course they have been called to that, but people do need to be patient and wait upon God.  He will give us wisdom in our singleness on how to abstain and live holy, to master our fleshly desires and combat loneliness, which coincidentally,  has nothing to do with singleness, you can be married and still feel lonely.  I believe loneliness is a tool that is meant to draw us into deeper fellowship with our master.  These are just my thoughts, I am by no means an expert, but I have been single by divorce for 4 years now and I know what it took for me to be where I am now, content until my prince comes!  I know what I want and I am determined to have it.

Yes, it can be a challenge to live single and holy.  I also noticed the discussions not relevent to the group .  Please allow me to invite you to something that does relate. SEE BELOW:

Praise God for you brother Harrison and I must say I do agree with you on this topic, so no punt taken.  It's very tough, especially as a single woman, in the ministry.  I think most of us are overly expecting things which are so unreasonable.  Our expectations should be the expectations of what God sees in each of us. The Holy Spirit will minister to your soul concerning these matters.  However, some are seeking this union with another, but yet are unprepared for that godly union that God speaks of. Others are caught up in their own selfish desires, needs and wants that they may have come across the one that God had intended from them all the while, yet over looking their blessing. Love your post Brother Harrison.  Continued blessings to you....

Greetings to you I just happen to come to this page and see it was in 2009. It showed me how longs it's been since I been on this site. But upon the reflection of your post many are promoting instead of saying where they are. Even now being single in ministry and the Apostle/Overseerer of the ministry the Lord trust me with can sometimes be tough as a single women. Let me add a single, saved, African American women who's life is stable and up to part. So what I find is men become intimidated even though I don't want to be a man. I love being a women but so many men in the state of Washington are very insecure and it causes a little war for my life. I know that God has that special person, but at this time I almost feel like I don't need a man, not because I don't want one. But the anointing is not to be played with and one can't afford to settle for less then what one is called and is and living proof of the goodness of the Lord. Anyhow I thought I'd share that, enjoy your day shalom
