Dead Fish and Birds!! what are your thoughts

This world/new decided to ask Kirk Cameron of the Left Behind Movies about what is happening to the Birds and Fish that is dying in various states. And Scientist have there own speculations some are puzzle of what is going on!!  Some are blaming it on Cold weather. Omg!! we been having cold weather all the time duh!!

 

The bible tells us these are  just the begining of sorrows but the End is not yet

 

So far.. Arkansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Brazil, Sweden,New Zealand and Britain

Hosea 4:1-3
1Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

2By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

3Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

Kirk Cameron did not jump at the chance to attribute these phenomena to eschatological events. "I think it’s really kind of silly to try to equate birds falling out of the sky with some kind of an end-times theory,” Kirk told CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jk4fDkd-wFI

I have to agree with Kirk. In Arkansas, for example, the dead drum fish are likely the victims of a pollutant on the bed of the Arkansas river (drum fish are bottom feeders), and the dead blackbirds were probably caught in a local tornado.

This is the end time and it is going to get worse but those in Christ they will be safe.

Dramatic die-offs among animals that congregate or travel in large groups have frequently occurred in the past 30 years. For example, there are documented cases of migratory birds becoming disoriented by extreme weather conditions and colliding with each other in midair or running into physical obstacles (like trees).

 

"Large mortality events in wildlife aren't that uncommon," says Paul Slota, spokesman for the U.S. Geological Survey's National Wildlife Health Center in Madison, Wis., which has been tracking mass animal deaths since the 1970s. "In the last 10 years we have logged 188 cases just involving birds with mortality exceeding 1,000 animals per event."

 

If the prophecies in Zephaniah and Hosea are being fulfilled today, we can expect to encounter die-offs of less communal species of animals: eagles or sand pipers, catfish or sharks, rhinos or wolverines. Hundreds of bobcat corpses found across the Smoky Mountains, or hundreds of dead spotted owls in Mt. Rainier National Park... now we'd be encountering phenomena that would frighten a wildlife expert because those are solitary species that couldn't be killed off by a single geological or environmental event.

I believe the earth has been entrusted to us as stewards. When I hear reports of mass animal deaths, I want to know if some human malfeasance or misfeasance is responsible, and whether it is correctable. In that respect, I believe the opinion of the wildlife experts can indeed be useful: it can help us be good stewards, and so fulfill Christ's instructions to "occupy till I come."

 

Now, I read prophecies about God "sweeping away" His creation in light of Peter's rather stark picture of destruction on the Day of the Lord: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. [2 Peter 3:12]

 

Peter's description doesn't seem to jibe with a gradual, piecemeal slaying of species of animals (first the drum fish die out, then the blackbirds, then the crustaceans, etc.). But who can speak of such things with certainty? Maybe you're right about these mass deaths. Maybe God is staggering His destruction of the earth so that He can graciously extend the period of repentance open to mankind.

 

This much I am sure of: when Christ warned us what signs to look to for the beginning of sorrows, he foretold "famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." It is not impossible that the recent mass deaths of animals fits this description (so many things could be considered a "pestilence") but the spate of natural disasters in recent years (including the flood waters in Australia and mudslides in Brazil this very week) CERTAINLY fits the model. It appears, moreso than ever, that the whole of creation "groaneth and travaileth in pain" waiting for its redemption. Maranatha!
