As Africa and Arab nation rebel against their oppressors, some, not many, are asking if the black community is prepared to rebel against the oppression, enslavement and brutality that it still faces in America. Right wing extremist and their House Negroes continue to assault the Black community with coded and not so coded racist propaganda. They are openly hostile to a black President who has done very little to address the oppression and discrimination afflicting Blacks and Latinos and has continued some of the policies enacted under Republicans and George W. Bush in the so-called War on Terror.

While all of this going on, while police murder Black men and black babies, while right wing groups murder Latin American immigrants, while they threaten a revolution because a Black man is President, the majority of 21st century Negroes are doing nothing to prepare for what may come.

Tonight Black Talk Radio looks back at a true freedom fighter, Robert Williams, a Black man from North Carolina who dared to pick up a gun and argue for violent self-defense against violent oppression. Sharing audio excerpts of the PBS Independent documentary "Negroes With Guns: Rob Williams and Black Power."

Blacks have it DARNED good here in America...

 

They would be fools not to hit their knees - then just get off their lazy bones and go VOTE.

The real Power is on our knees to our God and in this country we have been blessed to have a VOTE.

Anybody remember that many people died so that we could vote - NOT shoot people.

If we brought out guns - we would be OUTGUNNED.

Stop being lazy and vote.

 

Besides, racist white people would LOVE for black people to start shootin at them.

We would go from being over 30 million Black Americans to 29 million Black Americans.

Black folk dont want to play the gun game with white people - They WORSHIP their weapons.

For the most part white Americans who say they worship Jesus really dont...They worship the Second Amendment and  are armed to the hilt.

Black People please pay Egypt no mind.  They have their way of doing things and WISH they had what we have.

I hope you are not making a generalization of my views because if you are you are engaging in ignorance. If you think the masses of Black folks have it so good in America you are mistaken when it incarcerates more Black people than any country and leads the world in enslaving people of all colors on their private prison plantations. 

 

Yes, we must vote and we must pray because faith without doing the work is nonsense. It is lazy to keep begging God to do something he has given you the tools to do yourself.

 

Robert Williams lived during a different time when they were being confronted by violent mobs, no police protection, children being attacked and murdered or falsely imprisoned. This is a look at Black History. I'll bet you are one of those who know more aobut Jews and their history than you do of your own ethnic group. Bet then again, just you are on a Black website does not mean you are Black. And to support the oppression of the Egyptian people shows you do not wish freedom from oppression of all people and that makes you a racist along with being ignorant. No further responces warranted because I do not waste time on ignorant people.

I am one of those that KNOW we have it better than Egyptians and we have it better than what OUR OWN people have went throught right here in the states in the PAST.

Can things be better - SURE but I thank God for what we have and by no comparison are we having it as bad as those in the middle east and the rest of Africa.

So dont be tryin to incite a riot.

We must vote. and PRAY and vote.
