Can believers of Jesus Christ assist or promote productions that showcase homosexual acceptance?

I was just browsing and came across this discussion one Minister replied that Sodom and Gomorrah was not about homosexuality, however he did not say what is was about. I am looking for some clarification. What was it about if not homosexuality?

It was about having abundance and not caring for the poor ANNNNND homosexuality.

I think if you focus on the 'head' - everything will fall into line.
There are women (trying) to do what men are called to do because the average American man has allowed himself to be feminized.
Many men dont stand in the gap and have abdicated their roles and therefore they watch as women try to step in their shoes thus neglecting their own roles as nurturers and care takers and keepers of the home fires.
Now they are all discombulated and another generation comes up watching their mothers being providers and protectors of the family - and thats not only in the natural but when it comes to spiritual as well...then we've got a problem.

So you have men agreeing that women should be doing exactly what men are called to do ----> the next step you have men agreeing that God does not mind men doing what women are are called to do - which is to be soft and delicate.

Its a mess, but somebody is right and somebody is wrong and God will sort it all out.

The answer is simple, sex is a desire not a need! You can decide not to have sex and live your life in full. You homosexuals make it look like if a person has homosexual proclivity, they are condemned to have sex in another man's anus. No they are not. They can say no. You still are posting from an emotionalpoint of view and that is a big problem in Christianity.l  When Paul said study   he did not mean the bible.   Homosexuality is a result of the amount of hormones manufactured by the body during pregnancy. If you find something that disproves that let me know and do not say the bible.  I will point out some tings in the bible that you may find chaffing.

"Study [spoudazō] to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" [2Tim 2:15]. Strictly speaking, the Greek word translated "study" in the KJV actually means "give diligence." However, the concluding thought in the sentence (handling the word of truth with precision) implies that the diligence to be shown is in the understanding and interpretation of scripture.

 

I will point out some tings in the bible that you may find chaffing.

We do not know what paul was implying.  You can never know what a person is implying.  Please the scriptures were not written when paul wrote timothy so how can he be telling him to study them and timothy probably died before the bible was pieced together.

 

You cannot allign science with the bible.  There are a lot of things inthe bible that do not agree with what science has proven.  Rabbits chewing the curd for one.  Scientists study these things and I personally have been involved with lab experiments where we were able to change the sex of mice during gestation.

 

So if I see something proven by science i end to believe it.  But I know that the black clergy leans toward seminary training as opposed to secular schooling.  This is why people who have a high school diploma walk around thinking they have doctorates.,

The Holy Scriptures were recorded, collected and disseminated long before Paul's day. Remember how Jesus had read from the Scriptures in Luke's gospel:

And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written,

"THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD."

Paul's writing affirms the compilation of the Holy Scriptures in his day; that is why he was able to make the following exhortations:

 

"For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope" [Rom. 15:4].

 

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" [1 Cor. 15:3,4].

 

"But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus" [2 Tim. 3:14,15].

Paul told Timothy that he should guard against false claims that science didn't align with scripture. You should also heed that warning. Hares are referenced in Leviticus and Deuteronomy as animals that, while not true ruminants according to modern classification, do rechew food previously digested. The Hebrew word that is commonly translated into English as "cud" is gerah. For the description that Moses gave to be biologically inaccurate, we have to assume the Ancient Jew understood gerah to mean "regurgitated food." But it is doubtful the average Israelite knew about the multi-chambered stomachs of some animals, or what exactly they were chewing. These passages of the law weren't intended as zoological primers... they were only identifying the chewing motions exhibited by ritually clean animals.
