What does prosperity mean to the Body of Christ.  Does it has any place in teaching, is it

for the body, should it be taught or should it be ignored.  What is biblical prosperity?

What does the bible has to say about this topic?

I gree with you, what you're saying is twisted theology..Amen
Proverbs 22:2
Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all.

Proverbs 14:31 He who oppresses the poor taunts his Maker, But he who is gracious to the needy honors Him

Job 34:19
who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?

James 2:5
Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

2 Corinthians 6:10
sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

Revelation 3:17
You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
Greetings Preacher,

Simply put most people are poor because they are lazy or ignorant, meanig does not
have the understanding to apply wisdom, knowledge and common sense to succeed
in their life.

King Solomon said it is a great evil for God to bless someone with riches, wealth
and honour and the person being blessed cannot enjoy it. He called this a disease.

King Solomon also said it is nothing better than for a man to enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Jesus said the theif comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Being poor, the spirit of poverty is a spirit from the enemy whose only purpose is to
steal knowledge, widom and understanding of the Word of God which will result in the
destruction of your life.

I am sorrry but I must disagee. No one should be poor.

Saying God wants his childrfen poor is a satanic gospel and antichrist in nature.

Thats not true Jesus was financially poor and so were the disciples...

If Jesus was rich, why would he need women to support him?”

Luke 8:3 Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod's household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.
Greetings Preacher,

Show me in the bible where it says Jesus was a financially poor man.

Luke 8:3 Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod's household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.

Matthew 17:27
"Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him. 27"But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."
ANSWER:
Jesus was in a house that he was staying..why didn't he just go to his stash and get the tax money? for hmself and Peter,or why didn't Peter have the money?

Matthew 22:19 19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax." They brought him a denarius

Why didn't Jesus have his own with him?

Acts 3:6
Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."

seems like they were financially broke there also...

Silver and gold have I none. Though the early church had poured out its gifts abundantly, Peter had not enriched himself, and was a poor man (Ac 2:45), presenting a great contrast to the popes who claim to be his successors. It is related that Thomas Aquinas came to Rome and visited Innocent IV. He looked somewhat amazedly upon the mass of plate and treasure which he saw there. So, said the pope, you see, Thomas, we cannot say as did St. Peter of old, 'Silver and gold have I none.' No, said Aquinas, neither can you command, as did he, the lame man to arise and walk. Peter had that which the popes have not.

1 Corinthians 4:11 To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless;

Greetings Preacher,

If I gave you $100. Does that mean you did not have $100.
of course not.

If you took the $100. That still does not imply that you did not
have $100.

Jesus was neither poor nor was he hoarding money or possessions.

Anything Jesus needed was provided for him. When he needed food for the masses, he could multiply the lunch of a little boy. When he need to pay honoraria, he could tell Peter to draw money from a fish's mouth. He never went hungry, he never went about naked, he never suffered the least lack... because he possessed in the favor of God.

This is the real power of covenant-relationship with the Father. If you're about your Father's business he will provide everything you need... You don't need to be scrapping around in the dog-eat-dog economic system... grasping for these material possessions... all you need will be added to you when you seek first the Kingdom of God.
Brother Gill, you have captured the essence of New Testament scripture in two short paragraphs. Praise God for your revelation!
Proverbs 22:2
