Anyone who thinks God “took out” Pastor Zachery Tims “because of his sin,” probably ought to be looking over their own shoulder. You see, God is not a murderer (check out Matthew, Mark, Luke and John — who did Jesus kill?). Everyone will give an account of their lives: those who are in Christ will do so before the Judgment Seat of Christ, and those who are outside of Him will do so before the Great White Throne Judgment. I am absolutely tired of these self-righteous “christians” who are quick to pass judgment on someone when they, too, walk around with the sin that so easily besets them.

Instead of throwing stones, we should be collectively mourning the loss of a General of the faith and praying for the four young children surviving Pastor Tims. We should also collectively “pump our brakes,” rather than jumping to conclusions about what led or contributed to his demise.

As you so eloquently stated, Sis. Denise, "don't get it twisted." I am not being an apologist for anyone's actions. What I'm simply saying is that no one is completely free of sins even though we are free from sin. You are absolutely correct, GOD is going to judge each and every one of us. Our job is to let God be God!

Grace+Peace,

Bishop Day

I do apologize Bishop Day for replying to your end, but I didn't know of any other spot.  But for the both of my brothers and whosoever else read my posts.  They are written with conviction and humility.  Bishop, when you say no one is completely free of sins, I beg the difference, but Sin is not the problem it is DISOBEDIENCE to the Word of God period.  Sin is trangression of the Law and Jesus died so that we were able to go unrecognized because of His blood, that is what God the Father sees when looking at us, but DISOBEDIENCE is what God judges.  Thats why its the wages (ways) of sins that take us to DEATH.  Well, if we keep falling into temptations, then we pay the consequences.  God say be perfect...not the perfect that people talk about, God's perfect is be SINCERE in all that we do, meaning rightly dividing the truth no matter that it CUTS as a two edge sword even if it is OURSELF.  God don't change for no one, He didn't do it for His only begotten Son that came to show us that we can live and OBEY the Father.  And if we claim to have His spirit then what????  We can go back and forth sugar coating our lives and others and glorifying out mishaps, and yes, God forgives us when we repent...and true repentance don't go back to old ways, because God say He make us a NEW CREATURE....so who is the liar?  God said the devil is a liar and was from the beginning and if we do his works we are his...NOT GODs.

In Love Sis Denise

P.S.  This was a quickie and I just wanted to post....smiling

Sis. Denise, your post is appreciated because it is done in love and truth, with conviction and not condemnation.

Grace+Peace,

Bishop Day

Thank you Bishop and I praise God for giving you that insight.  May God continue to bless you and yours and you obey Him as He has comanded us.  And if that spirit of trickery ever flows your way, I pray that you will Cast down every high thought and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and that the Holy spirit within you bring it into captivity to the obedience of Christ...Amen

In Love, Sis. Denise

I will, my Sister! God Bless You!

Grace+Peace,

Bishop Day

We are not to judge concerning salvation.  Salvation belongs to the Lord.  It is your job to judge concerning people who you associate with, the church you attend, the pastor that you sit under, your business dealings, the people you date, etc.

Casting the 1st Stone implies that you should not judge a person by sentencing them to death.  Christ came to save and he can save you from any death sentence that has been placed on your life by others.  The wages of sin is death outside of the blood of Christ.  We need to look at our own sin.

Whether or not Pastor Tims had a white powdery like substance in his possession is not the determining factor for being saved by God.  That is between Tims and God.  You would have to make a judgment call as to whether you are going to set under a minister who continually does not practice what he preaches.

Always 100.

God could have me sit under a Pastor who had a one year sexual affair with a French stripper because he had plans for me to take over that ministry in the future.  Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.  Did God reconcile Swaggart?

Don't judge a person by delivering them up to death.  Jesus said, "he that delivereth me unto thee hath the greater sin."  The power of condemnation has no power against the blood.  Know that God is able to reconcile the sinner.

On the flip side, pastors who do not practice what they preach give an excuse for people not to attend church, not really.  And then there were 11 disciples.  God will give you enough rope and you will hang yourself (Judas).

Can you forgive your brother?  Personally I don't have any comment on Tims.  I didn't sit under his ministry, didn't listen to or watch his sermons.

Just because a church is a mega church and speaking the word of God dosen't mean that the ministry has been ordained by God.  The devil speaks the word of God but does not put the word into action.  We now have people who are simply hearing the word but are not living the word.

We have compromised the word and are simply going with the mega church flow.  Matthew 3, The Jordan river flows down to the Dead Sea (people).  In order for you to break through to your miracle you are going to have to go against the flow to reach the Sea (people) of Galilee.  When you look at this river system on your map you will see that the system is virtually in a straight line and what God is saying to you is that he is not made to bend (from his word).  Your actions are going to have to line up with his word.

The preacher, John the baptist was clothed with a jacket made of camel hair.  Camel hair when woven together makes an inflexible material.  How are you going to make it in the wilderness?  With the word of God (living water).

People will say that many people were saved under this or that ministry.  You don't know who was saved.  Salvation belongs to the Lord.  David's sin was trying to number the people of God.  You have to live this word to the fullest and as John says, "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."

Always 100

Amen Rev. Watson, and Bro. Pitbull.  Understanding your post, you both are agreeing, but wanting understanding on your points of view and that will come as you both continue to dialog in love.  And to add to your referenced scriptural passages, I too like to submit some revelation knowledge.

Rev. 22:9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Key:  Worship God, OBEY  and verse 11....whew  really delve into that....he that is filthy let him be filthy...wow...let it seep in...When Jesus come, and the state that a man is in whoa to him.  He that is Holy, etc...Lord knows there are some Holy, Righteous, Unspotted people her and that have been here, those are the ones He is returning for.  NOT the ones who are TRYING to do all the above, it is those that keep His commandments and He knows them, He knows His sheep.  True repentance is REVERANCING God, not because you got caught, true repentance is that you are truly sorry and you will not do it NO MORE and turning away from a thing that befalls you.  True repentance is that you honor GOD so much that you will not do ANYTHING contrary to His word, and you won't know His word unless YOU study to show yourself approved, meaning you know HIS WORD and will LIVE it, because it CAN BE DONE.  Before Jesus came, it was not so, man could live any kind of way and reverence the Lord, but had no POWER to keep himself.  But praise be to God for the HOLY SPIRIT which dwells in those that believe and OBEY Him.

Keep on dialoging, because that takes you to HIS WORD to study it and get understanding from the Lord.  His Word is the same yesterday, today and forever, IT WILL NEVER CHANGE.  May God bless the both of you and keep you lined up with His word.

In Love, Sister Denise

We cannot forget to afford a person God's grace and mercy.  God does not kick a person out of the Kingdom because they may be struggling with some type of addiction.  If you slip up and sin then you're out.  Repent and your'e back in.  Sin again and you're back out.  Neither am I an advocate of the "Once Saved Always Saved Doctrine."  If Tims was anointed by God it is best that people do not bring an accusation against him concerning his salvation.

Always 100

Genesis 2:11, "And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren."  {When we become so (grown) full of ourselves it is easy to see the sins (burdens) of others that are against God},

Genesis 2:12, "And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that [there was] no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand."  {Be mindful of the sins that you are committing that other people are not able to see.  We are quick to attack others in an abrasive (sand) harsh manner.

     Genesis 2:13, "And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?"  {The number two is referencing "division" among people.  Are your comments causing division in the body of Christ and among Tims' surviving family members?  Strove together  means "to struggle."  Put whatever it is that you are struggling with out over the internet and give a full discourse and opinion.  Understand that we all struggle together.}

Genesis 2:14, "And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.  {What gives you the right to give a full discourse and opinion concerning the sins that Tims has committed?  Are you intending to abrasively attack other people of God (Hebrew) like you attack the sinner (Egyptian).

The clincher is that Moses (you) were also an Egyptian (sinner) at one time and just because you may be living righteous at the present time does not give you the right to attack (abrasive) the sinner.  The greater sin is to continually discuss another person's sin.

Rev, I understand your point of view but I think you may have some problems with your delivery.  You are over age 50 and have been living righteous for a long time.  You have also developed a self-righteous attitude towards the sinner.  I think everybody knows that Tims will be judged by God just like we all will.

LOL at the two of you.....agreeing to disagree and disagreeing to agree....smiling

Rev. Watson, I am not sure if Bro. Pitbull is a minister, disciple yes, but minister to minister....I am not sure about that.  Anyway, the two make very argumentive points, but THAT IS NOT OF GOD.  Bro. Pitbull wants empathy, which is applaudible, but God does not want us to lie to one another.  Jesus NEVER had emphathy...He spoke what thus saith the Lord, that is why the Pharasees killed Him.  They didn't like what He was saying, and all He was saying is what He got from God.  He never wavered, which they wanted Him to do.  We cannot, just because it is more appeasing to the flesh, our fellowman to not tell the GOSPEL TRUTH.  Yes, Jesus loved us, but He loved us to die or us OUR SINS and if He died for our sins, why do we still sin and think it is none effective that He died for them.  Being saved is not righteous, being saved is BELIEVING and CONFESSING from your heart that He lived, died and rose, that is whats wrong with the church today, we have become marvelers of men instead of God and His word.  Moses DISOBEY God, that is why he didn't get to go to the promised land.  People keep breaking the 2nd commandment, making this idol god, a god that forgives and loves etc.....that is not the God I know from His word.  Remember, God hardened a mans heart to kill his entire army....God has always said and still say and will continue to say....LET MY PEOPLE GO.  We must be guided by the Holy spirit, read His word and OBEY Him simple as that.  Now when we fall.....Jesus told us that if we love Him we will KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS and if we don't, we are of our father the devil...Now what or who do you believe Bro. Pitbull?  Now when a man falls, yes we must love him enough to tell him the truth as did Jesus to the world, but they didnt except it, as people don't except it today.  Remember the story about the man who lifted his eyes up in hell and asked Abraham to send Elijah to warn his brothers.... THAT IS WORD....Abraham said if they don't except it from the livng, what makes you think they will except it from the dead.  I say, except God's word for what it say, Revelation also tell us what happens when we take any word from the Book...Lord have mercy on everyone that do not keep Gods word and think and hope they will live eternally, because the devil has deceived many....we MUST keep His word and live it, that is OBEDIENCE.

I say this because the two of you know the word and love God, but if you love your brother you MUST WARN him or his blood will be on your hands, thats in Ezekiel.  We MUST be like Christ and that is what He did.  He was doing the work of His Father and that is what He commanded us to do.  Jesus did not compromised because He liked His disciples, He did what THUS SAITH THE LORD.

And I pray that I am doing what thus saith the Lord, by speaking the truth whether it hurts me or not.  And if ANY of Pastor Tims parishners leave, they never was there for God, they were there for the man and THAT IS NOT PLEASING TO THE LORD.    According to the word of God, one suppose to go to him and if he didn't listen then that one should take two more and if that didn't work, he was supposed to be confront by the whole congregation....now that is the word of God, but man don't do that either, they keep it behind closed doors like nobody see it.  Its like a person that drinks and when the pastor comes to their home they hide the liquor, but never hide the liquor because God can see them....WHAT DO YOU THINK GOD THINKS AND WILL DO ABOUT THAT PERSON???????  We have to stop deceiving and being deceived, God is not mocked and His word shall not return to Him void.  ALL OF HIS WORD IS TRUE...not some.

In Love, Sister Denise

You state in your reply, "Moses DISOBEY God, that is why he didn't get to go to the promised land."

Your critical attitude toward the anointed of God deeply limits and clouds your intellectual capacity concerning the mysteries of God.

The sum of your spiritual experiences would fall short in a frutile attempt to express the totality of the very nature of God.

Contrary to your partial understanding Moses did make it into the promise land.  Matthew 17:2-3, "And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light."  "And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him."

1 Corinthians 13:12-13, "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."

You attempt to abash Moses because he fails to meet your standard, but understand that he stood with Jesus.  All of your cognitive efforts and intellectual abiility fail in any attempt to impart God in his totality.

You only know in part concerning Moses and concerning Tims.  Now I encourage you to continue to quote your scripture, but for you to expound with any major expository composition would be dangerous to you and the church.

When you are unable to understand the dispensation of mercy and grace in which we live you limit your ability to see the mysteries of God and the things of the Spirit.

I've enjoyed you and Rev.
