Jesus Christ is a Jew.  We are his spiritual bride . We have then same right as Jerusalem Jews people have.  So will the Church go through  this ?

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them

Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.
When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:
so will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

Sounds about right to me!

No, I was saying your post sounds about right. But I still struggle with this.............

Immediately "after" the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his "elect" from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:29-31

Now if the "elect" here is Israel, than the church won't go through the tribulation.

I disagree.  Yes!  there will be a rapture and the church will be taken up.  But some of the church will not be ready to go back with Christ.  They will endure the tribulation period.

Look at the parable of the 5 wise virgins and the 5 foolish ones.

The 5 wise one was living right before God trimming their lamps, which was being filled with the Spirit of God daily.

But the 5 foolish ones, were folly.  They were carrying the name of Christ but not living the life.

The story went on to say, when the bridgegroom came, only the 5 wise virgins went in.

This is the parable of what's happening today.

There are some who know of God, some who have the word of God in their minds, but very few who's trimming their lamps with the spirit of God.

This is where the Word says, many are called but few are chosen.

We have to be wise, watchful and prayful that we walk this walk daily.  Every chance we get, we're meditating on God's word.  Not only have it in our minds, but others can see the life we live.  This is the trimming of our lamps.

No My Brother. Christ will only rapture those who are pure in heart. Not all who says Lord Lord shall be saved. This is why we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

The Word of God states, if the righteous scarcely be saved, where would the ungodly and the sinners appear.

We already know the unbelievers are lost unless they accept Christ. But God knows the hearts of men. And not all will be saved. Even those who's wearing the name of Christ but are failing to live unto God!

Yes!  with that I do agree.  Thanks for clearing it up for all...

GBU

What do you think Matthew 24 is saying?

Thank you all !  We will go through trouble times but nothing like Tribulation time.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

"...We will go through trouble times but nothing like Tribulation time..."

Ahh, sorry.  The church will be right in the middle of the tribulatino...Gird your loins, saints!

Yes the Church will go through the Tribulation.

Many saints are not prepared for it because they think they wont go through it...which is unfortunate.

There will be no rapture.

I see no scriptural evidence of any such animal.

YES! The church will not be "raptured" up.

I think the word 'rapture' in place of the phrase being 'caught up to meet Him in the air'.
