Can believers of Jesus Christ assist or promote productions that showcase homosexual acceptance?

I would like to know if the word of God means abstain from all appearance of evil relates to those believers of Jesus Christ who are marketable and beckoned to help in productions that clearly showcase homosexual acceptance. Should they do the production and set aside their religious faith as it is just fictional characters or is their evil intent behind bringing these productions to the mass population... meaning subliminal messages.

Thanks Moreh. I have some reading to do.
Thanks. I"ve been lying down and will check this out. Much appreciated.
It is true that Jesus gave us two laws, but those laws were already written in Torah. The fulfill, in connect with the law, means to perform, to bring about its keeping. Torah hangs on the two commandments Jesus gave us, and so to show our love for God, we are to keep God's commandments.
I know we are off the original subject, but this is one that so many believers dispute about. God said he is not the author of confussion. So if he did not want us to keep the Sabbath dont you think he would have come right out and said. THE SABBATH is no more. Yet every time one of the people would try and rebuke him from healing or eating on the sabboth, not once did he say, it shouldnt be kept. Even Jesus said in one of his talks about the future about the last days. About not being on the roof tops, or in labor or on a sabbath. Now why would he refer to the Sabboth in the future if he knew he was doing away with it. Remember, he is not the author of confussion. Wouldnt this be confusing if he really meant the sabbath is not important.

I think to often when it becomes to hard to follow somthing God wants us to its easier to TWIST scripture and make it fit what we want. Maybe thats why Jesus said " Many will come to me and say BUt I prayed in your name, healed in your name, and Jesus will tell them to go away he knew them not"

If God is this all powerful being.......dont you think he knew who would be reading his book? Dont you think hew would make it clear so that all could understand? It is clear. At one time Friday from sundown to saturday at sundown was practiced by all the Jews and Christians. Then Cosintine came along and decided that it was too difficult to keep that day. Alot of people confuse the day of worship and the day of rest. Yes they had worship on the first day of the week, and the second, third, fourth and many more. But the seventh day was to be a day of rest. Read it in the ten commandments. He even commanded that the strangers in your gates rest as well. Now if GOd is never changing, why would he issue commandments that he would just get rid of later?

I mean he is either an all seeing God or he is not. FOr me I believe he is. Sometimes its just easier to go with the flow. But does it make it right? Why stir it up when the majority think the Sabbath is not important? Right is right and wrong is wrong. Rather than give me your answer save it for that last day and pray its good enough for the big guy.
Its like that other issue. ONCE SAVED you are all ways saved. There are too many refferences in our bible both old testament and new that is not true. BUt all my Baptist friends will STRONGLY dis- agree. WHy is that? They all ways point out the one scripture that says no MAN can pull you from GOds arms. That is true only you can. Again God cant be the author of confussion. Then my friends seem to fall back on the old excuse, "well they were never saved in the first place"

We are going to be held accountable for every action, deed and thought. If we are miss leading our creators people and the truth is right there in front of us....I think we will be held accountable. BIG TIME!!!

So lets see your scripture to either twist or support Gods word.

By the way. I think all of you are great. I have spent countless hours reading and getting to know each of you. It looks like they deleted Marq posts. I was a little dissapointed in that. Its a great test of Gods people and word. Not everything will look or sound great, but Gods word will all ways come out the way it was meant too.

Thank you
For you sake you should hope that its not true. However, I will get you scripture to support that once saved you cant fall from salvation. You must be one of my baptist friends. Anyway, I will get you both oldt testament and new testament scripture. All I ask is you read it in context with an open mind. You wont need some one to explain it to you. Gods word says it all.
Pray of Salvation is a Prayer talking to God. A prayer that you are opening your heart to God. "Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be." Then God is invited in, by you to restore you to Him.

We all need a new life. We need to be cleansed from sin and it's penalty (which is death) and restored to fellowship with God who made us all. That is what Jesus Christ (God's Son) meant when He said we "must be born again" (John 3:7). "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Without the experience of the "new birth" we have no hope of enjoying the glories of heaven nor escaping the terrors of hell. Have you been born again?

The "new birth" is not a religion, not living up to a creed, not a set of rituals, nor joining a church or denomination. It's a transformation. Our old nature is changed and we receive a new one. Old things pass away and all things become new in Christ. We receive a new heart, new desires, new ideas, and a new direction because of this new nature. A birth is the coming into being of a new life which has the nature of its parents. When you were born the first time, you were made a partaker of the nature of natural man. When you are born again, you become a partaker of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4). God can become your heavenly Father.

The greatest attribute of God is that He is a God of love. He loves you and me. He loves all sinners and wants to save every one of us from hell and the terrible results of our sin. His Word tells us, "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). "For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (II Corinthians 5:21). God hates sin because of what it produces-- war, sickness, poverty, etc., but God loves the sinner.

God sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, so that we might have new, everlasting life. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). By His death and resurrection, Jesus paid for our salvation. He broke the power of sin and death, making it possible for us to have everlasting life. The life of God raised Jesus from the dead and He was the first born Son into the kingdom of God.

"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence" (Colossians 1:12-18).

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was nailed to a cross by ungodly men for no sin of His own. He was an innocent man-- the only man who was ever perfect and sinless. He never sinned, yet He took your sins and mine by taking an unjust death. Because He did this willingly, He was raised from the dead by His Father and given life and authority over the powers of darkness. God now imparts that same life and authority to all those who come receiving His provision for their sin. "...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" (I John 1:7)

We must accept God's Word that says we all are sinners and know that it is sin that separates us from God and repent or "turn away" from that sin. Until we each acknowledge, and ask forgiveness for our own guilt, we will never be free from it. It will eventually lead us right into hell.

"The Lord is...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (II Peter 3:9)
Denise,You sho' like to type. Keep it short for all us Saints with AADD! LOL
LOL....I know, but sometimes I just like to share...share....and mo share...sorry
No..No my dear Brother. This is an example of MY PERSONAL PRAYER AND HUMBLE HEART acknowledging I need God and want HIM to lead me to HIM. This is a conversation with GOD, this has nothing to do with man. This was an example of a SALVATION PRAYER you asked about. Alter call is an invitation to accept Jesus into your life publicly and to make a church your place of worship. Now (John 3:7). "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Without the experience of the "new birth" we have no hope of enjoying eternal life. Jeremiah 24:7 says, And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. Being born again is written in John 12:44-46 tells us; Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. If we simply believe on Him and turn from our wickedness with a repentant heart, He saves us and gives us new eyesight. Old things pass away and we become new creatures in Him. We not only are born again with a new Father, but within us is the potential to become just like His firstborn Son, Jesus. And to top it off Jesus tells us in John 14:1-9 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also; and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it'sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father. John 14:12 goes on to say, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. THIS IS THE POTENTIAL OF THAT CONVERSATION WITH GOD and when you do as the Word of God say you have these promises.

Okay here I go again Bro. Harris.....LOL
Oh, by the way....these are scriptures I am referencing also.
