"The Problem I have with this whole thing of Prosperity.... is that some think if you don't have any money , the fine clothes, cars, big houses and land... that God is not with you..."

This statement is so true. "SOME" Prosperity preachers give a false sense of if you don't have "it" you don't know God or your walk is questionable. NOT EVERYONE IS MEANT TO BE RICH!

I too am one who is sick and tired of the pulpit pimps and the multi-level marketing schemes in the church. Folks have the wrong agenda. Money..Money...Money and the love of it is all you hear these days. What happened to salvation? What happened to praise and worship? What happened to thanking God for what you DO have instead of running to the altar Sunday after Sunday begging God for more "material" possessions?

This is one of the very reasons the "church", especially the black church, has a bad name and folks no longer respect followers of God.

Well you know the church, and they were more than likely black from the beginning had a bad name. So prosperity didn't bring that about.
