Byron, as the scripture goes, you have eyes but can't see and ears but can't hear. I'm very candid as well as forthright in my writings and I have been exact in naming those who have erred greatly in mis-applying scripture to facilitate their own agenda and bellies. Your correct in your assumption that I did name T.D (reposition yourself) Jakes who preaches a more practical theology that seeks to create emotion from a mainly female dominated audience while continuing to diminish the obvious depravity and out of control communities he has chosen to serve. Pastors are called to pasture the flock by teaching, preachinig and equipping the saints to be more like Christ to move from a selfish life to an unselfish attitude of servitude, sacrifice and obedience to the Word of God that is uncompromising to ready the saints as the bride prepares to meet her Bridegroom. And since these are the last days as I keep hearing from those who stand mightily behind the pulpits, shouldn't there be preparation of how to survive these last days? And I've mentioned many white pastors, such as the Joel Osteen types and the (what's the guy in the white suits name), oh yeah Benny Hinn who goes to the many 3rd world countries to exploit and to create more dissolutionment by exporting this Disney land American prosperity gospel lie to a people who are seeking and dilligently seeking the truth of Christ and who are in severe hopelessness, darkness and in much need of deliverance which can only come by repentance and turning away from their wicked ways of idolatry and putting their trust and faith in only Christ! But since this site is called "BPN" BLACK preaching network and since most of those on here have T.D. (One Verse) Jakes as the most admired Bishop on their page, I figured they should know the true man they view as one who is today regarded as the black Billy Graham, who only preached as an evangelist of repentance and the simple Gospel and always had an altar call for those who were being stirred and convicted by the convicting Gospel of reconciliation with a broken and contrite heart. Question: How can one move from a dead state to a alive state in Christ and not be powerfully moved to be renewed through the regenerative process of the free gift of salvation? I haven't heard one sermon as of yet by T.D. (One Verse) Jakes concerning the place of hell nor heard a sermon about heaven, have you? I've seen him on many shows such as the Dr. Phil show where he never says the name Jesus or God or mentioned sin and its result when speaking or ministering to someone on an hour show, since he's called as a Christian Bishop, but instead he chooses to be like a Dr. Phil and instantly becomes not a Bishop but some spiritual guru. And Pastor (dollar bill) Dollar who has perfected the prosperity gospel while living lasciviously and outside the character of Christ, complete with bodyguards, I mean armour bearers who continually seeks to fill his coffers from silly laden women and effeminate men who shower him with many gifts to pursue his own agenda. I know of a good friend who was with him from the beginning who now works for Campus Crusade for Christ who hipped me to how Creflo uses his sales skills to defrock the flock or should I say fleech the flock with impunity while many other black clergy stand on the side lines while thieves continue to rob widows in broad daylight, and are too scared to speak out and to rebuke the obvious wolves in sheeps clothing. Why do you think that is? Did you see the video where T.D Jakes makes the foolish statement that David and Johnathan could have been gay? Where is your rebuke? If I was a pastor I would scream it from the mountaintop and take my persecution like a man!

And lets not let Thompson who loves to buy $16,000 dogs and suggests that if one isn't as rich as he is, is somehow not blessed by God, when God's word clearly states that the poor are blessed. If that's the case everyone who followed Jesus during His day was not blessed since most were poor when they gave up all to follow a man who said, "Foxes have holes, birds have nests but the Son of Man has no place to rest His head". The simple Gospel of repentance and reconciliation is not being preached mainly in the churches, whether its the black church or the white church mainly because they have figured out that there is not earthly profitable. So now there are ongoing marketers who have infiltrated the 'cherch' and seminars conducted to teach these "pastors" how to build a mega church instead of how to build and impact the Kingdom of God and to infect the kingdom of hell.

Rev. Luckett, you have summed it up again, there is NO PERFECT CHURCH, I am very grateful for men of God as yourself and Elder Williams.

I am simply not one to get anxious over others short fallings and run, there is something wrong about that,

Hebrews 12:14 specifically states to follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

not just saved men, not just those that dress like you, not just those that look like you but ALL men. We are to be the reflection of holiness so that others see God in us.

Hiding your light under a bushel, because your nose is turn up at others IS WRONG!

Fugett you are out of order and I think you know it. You have a dull of hearing spirit and must repent of trying to hinder the Word of God. In my going back and forth with you the past couple of weeks you have displayed nothing but ungodly contentions that are not profitable. Even though others such have made the same confessions as I in regards to having service in their homes or their standing against this church system you have aimed all grievances at me.

The Lord revealed to me that you have allowed the enemy to cause you to speak against me because of the assignment God has given me. I have expressed even Love for you and I still do but your spirit continues to reject that and twist words and apply things that don't apply. You seem to have a the self righteous attitude that you accuse me of. I am not trying to get people to look like me but like Christ. You seem to seek approval from people but laying aside essential elements of the gospel of Jesus.

You sure did speak about Pastor Mannings short failings, but refuse to speak about those who are preaching to itchy lukewarm ears. Why the selective rebuke? At least be consistent for respectability.

Have you ever heard of the AZUSA street revival. It was in an old home that God manifested these miracles not some big cathedral.
Not looking for a perfect church building brother. God has had us open our house and we have service in our home which is how many churches have started out. I don't recall the Holyghost only showing up in church buildings. I don't know where you live but we live in the middle of the country. We don't have a lot of major cities around us as before. Being from southeast Michigan, there were churches galore not so in the area of Kentucky in which we live. However, God has blessed people right in our home and we are looking for a continuance of the blessing.

I don't know you or Fugett but we should not claim to fully understand another's situation. You said sound preaching and teaching the doctrine of Christ as if we wouldn't stay for that. I have been saved since I was 10 years old and I think I can discern if a house is out of order. I don't go to churches that don't believe in the power of the HolyGhost. Some of the churches hear actually believe that speaking in tongues is Satanic and out of order. And you better not think of shouting. Others have pastors with girlfriends on the side. And as I mentioned before I am not Catholic nor am I Episcopal. Our only recourse is to have service in our home which is what God has instructed us to do. People have shown up and brought others with them so am I to take them to a church building just to not receive the truth AND BE BOUND EVEN MORE? SOME THAT COME TO OUR HOUSE ARE ALREADY MEMBERS OF THESE CHURCHES SO WHY ARE THEY COMING TO OUR HOUSE? As a member of the body of Christ we are the church. (where two or more are gathered together in my name there will I be in the midst)

I don't get why you and Fugett feel that if you don't go to a church building then the blessings of God are cut off. Those we minister too are in need of Christ not entertainment or preachers wanting to exploit them. I don't seek approval or understanding from people as I have already received my assignment from the Lord. If people continue to come to us and are blessed by the word then that is all that I care about. I don't care about human traditions but I do care about holiness. I care about the souls of people and that is what I wish to do is help these young people who need help. We don't turn our noses at anyone as some may feel. If you ask anyone in our community they will tell you that we give nothing but love because that is what Christ has put in me.

I have other children calling me Moma right in front of their own mothers. Does that sound as if I turn my nose at people. I love people and only wants to see folk blessed. If that means opening up my home to feed, minister or employ then so be it. HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS.

Brother I am not offended just responding to what seems to be a misunderstanding about what I have articulated. We have been worshiping in our home and have been blessed but many don't understand this action. I grew up in the a sanctified church that has a total different belief system than many I have come across. Living in the middle of nowhere, as many call it, we don't always find churches that hold the same belief. I don't know if you've ever been through Kentucky but there is not much here. We would have to move to Northern Kentucky to reach the areas of bigger population (Louisville, Lexington)

When I say that I am not Catholic or Episcopal I am referring to some of our options. I am not seventh day adventise or Jehovah's Witness Either. If you understand what I am saying then you would know that you can't just fellowship at any church for the sake of fellowship. And as far as the other churches mentioned I don't look down on people for their fallacies but I do have a problem when the Leader (Pastor) is the one out of order. I will not go into details but you can just about fill in the blanks these days.

To suggest that anyone sit under a Pastor that is living in sin is not realistic. God has called us out and that is where we will be until he says different.

There needs to be and should be UNITY in the BODY OF CHRIST! Not everyone has the same outlook nor understanding of the word. It is not up to US to give UNDERSTANDING, that is up to GOD!
