Many false prophets simply point people to themselves. Their covetousness manifests itself in a desire for power, influence, control, prestige, or importance—the antithesis of being poor in spirit, meek, pure in heart, and mourning over their ungodly weaknesses. The true prophet does not draw attention to himself but to God. If a prophet or teacher spends a great deal of time talking about himself, He is a false prophet, Jesus said HE must be lifted up.

If you believe this, then WHY are you saying that I am making it a self-appointed office when I strictly said that it MUST be validated within you!!?!?! If anything, you have contradicted your own convictions! Being taught and ordained by men/women of GOD is NOT a self appointment, nor is it a false appointment either. You make the Prophet higher than the Apostle , for Apostles had to be approved by GOD AND MEN. NO APOSTLE went without approval by men, NOT EVEN APOSTLE JESUS! If you don't believe that, then all you need to do is request and I'll show you, verse by verse, by verse.....

You haven't presented one scripture to back up your point. I'm OFFERING mine at request.
Are you kidding me? Who was the MAN WHO HAD TO APPROVE JESUS? Jesus even told them that were set to murder him that NO MAN TAKE MY LIFE BUT I LAID IT DOWN.

Again, we are talking about Prophets and in referencing Jesus, the Pharisee were always against his words but do you think he Cared. No. Jesus only answered to God. He didn't even answer to Mary & Joseph when it came to doing the Lords will.

God's voice spoke from heaven out loud validating Jesus. John the baptist didn't need to validate him only to reveal his coming.
I don't know why you are even mentioning the Pharisees. They had nothing to do with this.

John the Baptist was the Prophet that would point out the Messiah. John (the Prophet) had to validate him. When he baptized CHRIST, the LORD revealed it to him fully, and John bared witness as to who CHRIST was. NO MAN BEFORE HAND KNEW WHO JESUS WAS! Are you saying now that JESUS, the living Word of GOD, is going to work outside of HIS own word in Amos 3:7?

John was the forerunner, and he had to point to the ONE coming after him. If John did not, then it would have broken the very prophesies that introduces Messiah to the world. Validation has nothing to do with authority.

If you are my parent, I can validate your parental qualifications while you are still in authority over me. A wife validates a husband's worth as a man of GOD because she is to be the crown on his head, according to Proverbs. But the husband is the head of the household, parent is the head of the child, and the Apostle JESUS is the head of the Prophet John.

Didn't you read when Solomon was set as king, the other brother's kingship was invalid due to two things: 1) King David did not decree it, and 2) the Prophets did not validate it by their presence. Anyone can say "GOD sent me" or "GOD ordained me"! What sayeth the Prophets of the LORD Himself?!?!

2nd Chronicles 20:20 and Amos 3:7
No one here is speaking of ordaining kings but you. AGAIN, AS I HAVE STATED SEVERAL TIMES WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE POSITION OF A PROPHET. IN ORDER TO RECEIVE REVELATION FROM GOD, YOU MUST BE ANOINTED AND APPOINTED BY GOD.

A Prophet must receive revelation from God otherwise he is no prophet.
I know. It seems that you must have missed my point here....Now please, please PLEASE, give a scripture as to what I asked for....P-L-E-A-S-E-?
Again, I say the burden of proof is on you, the one who calls himself a prophet. My challenge is to you because the scripture already tells us how to discern God' Prophets.

Do you see any where in the scripture below where the Lord needs man to be a co-signor on ordaining of his Prophets.

Jeremiah 14:14 KJV

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought , and the deceit of their heart.

This scripture is proof that God calls and sends prophets without the co-signing or validation of Man.
I am not talking about Apostles but Prophets. Anyone can be ordained of man simply through the internet. Some people are handing our ordinations like free government Cheese, nothing special. Being trained in prophecy by a MAN/OR WOMAN OF GOD, does not constitute a calling for anointing from God himself. Only God can ordain, anoint and appoint his Prophets.

Now False prophets on the other hand require no anointing.

Also, show me a scripture where Jesus had to be approved my Men.
AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T GONE INTO SCRIPTURE TO PROVE YOUR POINT ON THE PROPHETIC OFFICE! A SINGLE VERSE DON'T MAKE A DOCTRINE!
CAN YOU GIVE ME ONE SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE ANOINTED & APPOINTED BY GOD TO BE ONE OF HIS PROPHET'S. IT WILL ALSO NEED TO SAY THAT MAN HAS THE AUTHORITY TO PLACE YOU IN THIS OFFICE.

THAT IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN STATING. NO CONTRADICTION HERE. What you seem to be articulating is that man can place you in this office without an anointed calling from the Holy Spirit. The burden of proof is on you seeing that you are calling yourself a prophet. It is not on me.

You seem to be going into left field brother and completely off topic here. This discussion was and continues to be about FALSE PROPHETS. My statements are pointing towards those who don't seem to have a true calling from God but have appropriated the office for WHATEVER REASON. AGAIN, I WILL SAY, IF YOU ARE NOT CALLED & ANOINTED BY GOD THEN YOU ARE NOT HIS PROPHET.

YOU MAKE THE OFFICE TO BE SOME SORT OF CORPORATE POSITION IN WHICH YOU CAN BE HIRED OR FIRED BY MAN. THIS OFFICE IS A GOD THING.
1 John 4:1 KJV

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Jeremiah 14:14 KJV

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought , and the deceit of their heart.

Lamentations 2:14 KJV

Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity ; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

Matthew 7:15 KJV

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:11 KJV

And many false prophets shall rise , and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:24 KJV

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark 13:22 KJV

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise , and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce , if it were possible, even the elect.

Luke 6:26 KJV

Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

2 Peter 2:1 KJV

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
You placed all the scriptures for false Prophets. Thats well and true. Now, HOW ABOUT WHAT I ASKED FOR??!?!?!!??
