Luke 16:31 is saying that Moses wrote of Jesus so if they had believe Moses then they would have believe Jesus and the second part is Jesus brought Lazarus back from the dead and the Pharisees wanted to kill him again because of the following Jesus had. That's why they still wouldn't be persuaded even if someone from the dead rose to go tell them what the rich man wanted them to hear.

If we don't believe what the bible says and we make up our own meanings without referencing veses to let the bible interpret itself we will always be confused and say it doesn't mean what it says or this is symbolic. Sure some things are symbolic but God let's you know. God bless.
John,

Verse 31 is the meaning of Luke 16. Allegories generally place the meaning of it at the end of the story.
Exactly what I'm saying. Verse 31 references Luke 16 and this is how God teaches us His Word so that we don't have to guess or assume. If people would cross reference a verse where it gives the cross reference the Bible would reveal Itself to them and they won't have have their own interpretations. God bless you always Brother James.
Thanks,
Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves
before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly
esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
Yes Rev. Culberson, Yahshua said to the 'thief on the cross", "this day shall you be with me in paradise' so showing that the spirit remains alive and either goes to the heavenly or, if wicked, hell dimension (Lk. 23:39-43)..

We are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are eternal beings, or as Scripture says, 'we are but a vapo.r' That 'vaporish soul' is what departs from the body when we die but it does not die for in that sense, it cannot die. It is the spiritual being that we are and it goes to some dimension. Again, heaven or hell or, in some cases, lost souls trapped in the earthly dimension. This is why there are 'ghosts.' They are souls locked in the earthly dimension.

Remember, the Bible says, 'hell gave up its dead, the earth and sea gave up its' dead' so verifying that souls exist in all dimensions (Rev. 20:13). It is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes, Amen? :-)
Elaine,

If you place the comma after the word today, it would conclude that the thief will be with Yeshuah at an undefined time. But, from other scriptures, we know that this time will be at the SECOND COMING. Replacing the comma would flow with the rest of scripture.
Okay, you say, "it's all about the comma." Nice to hear from you.
Elaine,

Yes, because that comma is the determination of the flow of the meaning.
What i;ve learned from this mans death is,our Father is gracious,so gracious that He does;nt make us go through this grief called death everyday.I can put M.J;s death were it is,but the emotions of just watching massive out pouring of hurt and pain, that people have inside is draining.Everyday somebody experiences this, making us who just want to support, revert back to our own loses,no matter how long ago it was.Looking at the children, reminded me when i lost my mother.Thats the grace of God,for us not to suffer continually that feeling of emptiness.(1PETER3:17) FOR IT IS BETTER,IF THE WILL OF GOD BE SO,THAT YE SUFFER FOR WELL DOING,THAN FOR EVIL DOING.He(THE LORD) has a way of making the world, cry and in that moment focus on Him and the Kingdom!
That's beautiful Minister Agnew, truly beautiful, insightful, and comforting. Thanks for sharing.
Michael was the greatest
I learned there was a reason God said not to worship Idols. I was a fan of MJ. He was talented. He wasn't my idol nor my God. There have been numerous suicides as a result of this man's death. He's no savior. I've learned that events of such nature tend to take up much of this country's time. The media keeps it in your face. They don't allow celebrities families the time nor respect to grieve or do what they feel necessary.

As for the comment about the "church" always speaking negatively. It's as simple as this: THE CHURCH IS TOO QUITE ON ALL ISSUES! We have allowed ourselves to be silenced for the mere purpose of being politically correct when THIS country was founded on belief in God. Instead of bickering with each other we need to unite and get OUT of the FOUR WALLS (church building) and go out and witness and win some souls for the Kingdom....seriously.
