Should a Woman Be A Bishop or Apostle...?

This is a topic which needs to be discussed. There are "pros" and "cons", but let us find the truth about this matter. A woman should not be in charge of a man at any time. God set the order even from the beginning(Genesis 3:8-16). There is no mention of any females as a bishop or an apostle in the Holy Bible. The devil has lied and deceived so many people. It is time for everyone to be persuaded by his or her own mind. I leave some scriptures for you to study and consideration. RECEIVE THE TRUTH TO BE BLESS, WALK IN ORDER AND GUIDE OTHERS !!!!!!!

Disrespect?!?!? Whats disrespectful is how you would speak to me concerning this subject. Whats disrespectful is how you allow your Pastor to speak to people as if he is above any and everyone. Whats disrespectful is that I asked a simple question, and instead of you giving brotherly respect and answering it, you call yourself saying I will receive judgment!

As a brother in Christ, I can show you respect, and I expect the same. However, though you may be an Apostle, you are NOT my Apostle, so please remember that and stay in your place sir. Though I have disagreed with you, I have kept a level of respect. I expect you to keep it as well. You have alot to risk by not doing so, Apostle Riley.

All I want to know for now is this: "what is the full definition of the word "Usurp", and when/how is it properly used?"

I' m not asking for much, just respectful answers. I doubt that any of you here have the authority and sanction from Heaven to excommunicate me for my views, so please, a simple and respectful answer is all I want.

I don't actually agree with the statement of a woman not being able to be used in the ministry of apostleship, preaching and teaching also. For us to say this is wrong. Look at Mary mother of Jesus; she was a teacher, The Samaritan woman at the well she was a preacher also, and if that's not true look at Deborah in Judges 5; she was a general,prophetess,judge, and held various positions in the ministry. Women can be use in the five fold ministry. But they must have a male covering, may not usurp authority over a man and can obtain an apostolic annointing over them. Women can not be apostles, bishops and pastors with men in the congregation. Here are some scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:11-15, 1 Timothy , chapter 3 and 1 Corinthians 11:1-10. Be Blessed and Be Persuaed By Your Own Mind!!!

This scripture you are referencing is about allowing men, women, Jews or gentiles to have corporate worship. You need to check the context before using scriptures. Men who support women oover men are repropates and being controled like Ahab. Women can be Evangelists and Prophets, only. There is no evidence in the Old or New Testament which support women as pastors, bishops or apostles. Seek God for guiduance not no one else!!! You must repent before it become too late. You need obtain a good dictionary and conduct better study of verses. YOU ARE CONFUSED AND MISLEAD.

In reference to the five fold ministry comment, there are terms that are used all the time that are made up which help bring understanding. Are we to stay in the same simple mind? GOD causes us to learn understand and grow in grace and knowledge.

Other than that, I'm all for what you said, ESPECIALLY the challenge!

The Holy Ghost has revealed the truth to me. Who taught you? A real man will not allow women to lead him. A man who is confused will allow anything in his life. The proper name for the five offices, the Lord and Apostle, Jesus Christ is "Apostolic Government". I have a Doctral Degree, but I do not use it in the church setting, because Apostle, Jesus do not leave this title to be used in His church (Hebrews 3:1-2). You are a novice and do not understand spiritual because you are not spiritual (1 Corinthians, chapter 2). God will judge between me and you. I have a relationship with God, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Maybe one day, you will obtain a relationship with them. A-men

Thank you Mr. Anthony R. Watson for bringing up Junia! I was looking through this chain of discussion to see if someone had brought her up. Anyone that refuses to really do some research about the fact that Paul acknowledged a Woman Apostle really just don't want to know the truth or care to know the truth. Some people need the wisdom of Gamaliel in Acts 5 and just "let them alone" because if it is not of God, nothing will come of it. (but of course if it is God they will find themselves fighting against God). Some people kill others with their mouths thinking that they are doing God a service.
