In reading the different dicussions on the site I love it because I am always looking to talk the Word over with fellow believers, and were there are disagreements I love to hear the different view points wether oe not i agree with them. And during the course of reading I have noticed that there are some Messianic Jews that add to the disussions on here ( and some are right on it), but I am wondering why would people who were gentiles by birth need to follow something that was never meant for them i.e. the Law.

Paul wrote many of his letters to refute the very fact of judiazers telling gentile believers that they had to follow the Law as well as believe in Jesus. Or even the fact that Peter and Paul had a disagreement over this very subject:

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. 12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. 13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. 14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

It is my belief that the Law was given by God to the Jews. But Christ came for All, and fulfilled the Law so why do I have to go back to following something that has already been fullfilled? Very interested in hearing your thoughts!!

Stuart,

Can you explain that?
Stuart,

Did you think that I practice Nazarene Judaism without Yashah Messiah? I believe and follow Him!
Stuart,

Yashah Messiah is "Jesus the Messiah."
Yes he is. Its actually spelled incorrectly (he's spelling it how he would pronounce it in Hebrew).

This reminds me of the posting for the great debate of the terms of the new covenant! (James and I know this one very well, don't we James?)

This all deals with the full understanding of the laws and seal of the new covenant. If a new covenant comes into play, it automatically voids the old, replacing it entirely. Even the "Ten Commandments" of the Mosiac law are null and void, as hard as it is for people to understand. Being that we are now under the New Covenant of Christ I am no longer to love my neighbor as I love myself; rather I am to all others as JESUS loves me. There is a big difference there. If I love someone as Christ loves me, then I wont:

-steal from them
-lie on them
-murder them
-rape them
-wrongfully covet what is theirs be it possession, children, or spouse
-curse them
-punishment of excommunication for breaking these laws (leaving a full chance of repentance)

....and the list easily goes on. This is apart of the Law of Christ. The laws of "Don'ts" are for those who are going to break them. If one is going to live by the Law of Moses, then they are required to keep the entire Law of Moses, which automatically includes:

-Sabbaths
-Feasts
-physical Circumcision on the eight day of birth or upon conversion for males
-blood sacrifices
-Mosiac tithes
-punishments of stoning for breaking any of these laws (leaving no chance for repentance)

Most ignore what is said within Galatians chapter 5

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? Then is the offense of the cross ceased. I would they were even cut off which trouble you. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

There is no misunderstanding here in his words. Its just a refusal to read and research it fully. If circumcision is still to be done, then why did he say otherwise in this letter? Was this letter a false letter? A forgery? Was he contradicting himself?

This was spoken from a Hebraic perspective.
Trevor,

No comment to such blasphemy.

Shalom
No comment needed James. The scriptures speak for itself, far better than any of us can. Galatians 5 (the entire chapter) refutes what you are talking on here. I posted the entire chapter for you to read. Is the the scripture speaking blasphemy against scripture?
thank you Mr Greene, Sir, for bringing this beautiful passage of Scripture.

No, this letter to the Galatians is not a forgery, and it does not contradicts. The letters both to the Romans and to the Hebrews reads and explains the same truths. These letters are the absolute truth and Word of God.

There is no misunderstandings we just need to pray for those that have not yet received the discernment of the Holy Spirit.
They have not received the discernment of the HOLY SPIRIT, simply because they refuse to receive the seal of the HOLY SPIRIT. If a person relies on the works of the old covenant, then they live by the seal of the old covenant. The baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT is the seal of the new covenant, and not anything else!

Who says the "African Americans are Gentiles"? Because of the seed of ham being of ethopian/Philistine/middle east? I am not a Gentile...revealed to me by the Holy Ghost. I am the seed of Shem. Scattered, my ancestors for disobedience.
