There are seven heavens in existance. Hell is defined as "hades", a grave. In the book of Revelation, the Lake of Fire is the prison for Satan, devils and others who rebell against God' governmental laws. The rapture speaks of persons who have died and those who are alive in Christ to receive their rewards, robes and eternal life with God (1 Thessalonians, Chapter 4). People need to know the truth. No one after death goes to Heaven nor Hell. If you need more insights regarding this matter, then please contact me. A-men.

Graves are also known as resting places. The evila nd wicked will be in a state of minor torment in their minds while dead. While those who has died in Christ will be in paradise-pleasant disposition.
Mr. Watson,
What is your office. The doctrine was passed to apostles from the Lord Jesus Christ. Too many leaders try to explaining biblical matters. The Holy Ghost can only reveal spiritual matters. You are incorrect with your findings. Lord Jesus Christ appointed apostles to bring order, corrections and guidance to those who are confused or tossed about with every wind of doctrine(1 Corinthians, chapter 2 and Ephesians, chapter 4). If you need the truth to this discussion, then you must open up your mind and be willing to discard your previous notions.
Knowing your office is very important. Apostles are sent to bring order doctrine and prepare leaders in the churches. Where did you receive your knowledge? There is both good and bad knowledge. I received my knowledge from the Holy Spirit. It is written in 1 Corithians, chapter 2. No man who receives carnal knowledge can not comprehend spiritual understanding from such matters. The truth will be uncovered to those who are willing and obedient to her voice. A-men.
Anthony,

Remember this song," On that morning, when this life is over, I'll fly away?" But where will you go? That is the question.

Where will you fly away?

Can we start at the foundation, where we were created? Turn to Genesis 2:7. It says - And God formed the man of the dust of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

Here is the formula...... Dust Of Earth(Body/Soma) + Breath Of Life(Spirit/Pneuma) = Living Soul(Psuche).

Man is the combination of 2 things.... A body + Spirit which equals out to a soul--- YOU.

This is the formula when man dies.... Dust Of Earth - Spirit = no soul(perished/non existent)

I wanna show you a few scriptures that shows what happens to man at death... The scripture here is Genesis 3:19 - In the sweat of your face shall you eat your bread until you return to the ground out of which you were taken, for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”

Eccl 12:7 - before the dust also return to the earth as it was, and the spirit return to God who gave it.

When you die, your body returns back to the dust, and the breath of life, your spirit, returns back to God who gave it . You do not dwell in heaven, for if that was to happen, then your whole being has to go to heaven.. why? Because you are a soul, and the soul is what? You said it, and you believe it.... Body + Spirit = Soul.

I am not sure of anyone else, but when the bible says Jesus was DEAD for 3 days, thats exactly what that means, he was dead . The Greek word for dead is Neckros, which means the absence of life(Zoe). Many Christians say that Jesus was in hell taking keys from the devil. But even the devil is not in hell. He is here on earth, for this is where he has fallen to. Jesus was in hades, laying neckros for 3 days. How can you resurrect someone who's already alive beyond death? Let my people think!!

Notice what Jesus said to Mary Mag in John 20:17 - Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

When we die, we will sleep in the grave til the resurrection

1 Corin 15:20 - But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

1 Thess 4:13 - But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.

Those are examples of many other examples about us sleeping until the resurrection..

Most Christians will bring the #1 objection of this to prove our entering of heaven at death(Thanatos).. That is what Paul said in 2 Corin 5:8 - Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

But notice Paul said he would rather have that happen, but he never meant that to mean it will happen. Why? Because Paul was the very man that says Christians are asleep in the grave. Paul was under a popular Torah scholar, and so you can be sure Paul understood exactly what the soul was. Oh let us think!!

There is another popular scripture my fellow christians use. Luke 23:43 - And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Now, notice the comma is before the word today. Mind you, In the Greek manuscripts, there were no commas or punctuations of any kind.

Now watch these differences. I will post the scriptures in different punctuations.

And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you today, you will be with me in Paradise.”

Do you see the differences?? Yes you do.

One has the comma before the word today, and the other has the comma after today.

Now lets examine these. Let us go with the comma before the word today. If Jesus meant that THAT was the day he will see him in paradise, when Jesus didnt ascend to God until AFTER the resurrection, then you have a contradiction here. Why? Because you already know what a soul is, and what happens at death, So how can Jesus possibly switch that and say they will be in paradise on the same day?

Now if you go with the comma after the word today, then you have an awesome flow of scripture, why? Because If the comma is after, then you have an undefined aspect as to when they will see each other in paradise.

The scripture should be translated," I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise." This fits ALL the scriptures that deals with the meanings of the soul.

I also want to add. Since there were no commans in the manuscripts, then Luke 23:43 is left open for proper interpretation, and if it would allow, the comma after the word today fits the biblical flow of the hardcore, unbiased truth about our state at death.

My Christians, If you die today, where will you go? It surely isnt heaven.

There are 2 Greek words that brings out the english hell--- Hades & Geenna. I will expound on them both.

Hell is the most terrifying doctrine preached by christians. Their fire and brimstone breath just breathes on all who fall victims of it. But the sad thing is that the fellow christians has no understanding of what they say. They do not realize that the fire and brimstone message they preach is figurative language. The bible is full of figurative language. Figurative language is something that should not be taken literal at all.

I wanna start with Greek word #1, Hades. Hades is the Greek word for "grave. In fact, the Hebrew word for it is Sheol. Hades means Grave, unseen, abode of the dead. I wanna show you when Hades is seen as figurative, but I will get to that in a bit. First off, I wanna show some places where the literal meaning of hell is seen.

I Sam 2:6 - The Lord kills and makes alive; he brings down to the grave, and brings up.

1 Kings 2:9 - But you shall by no means hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man, and will know what you shall do to him, and shall bring down his grey hairs with blood to the grave.

Psalm 6:5 - For in death no man remembers You; and who will give You thanks in Hades?

Acts 2:27 - For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, or let your Holy One see corruption.

Those are examples of the literalness of Hades. Now I wanna go to the segment where most christians take literal, but its really not. This is where something that is literal gets turned into figurative language, but we must not lose the literalness of it, or we will be doing eisegesis(forcing interpretation into text). I want to also note that some of these will be metaphors as well.

Psalm 18:5 - The pangs of hell came round about me: the snares of death prevented me.

Psalm 30:3 - O Lord, You have brought up my soul from Hades, You have delivered me from among them that go down to the pit.

Isaiah 38:10 - “I said in the end of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave; I shall part with the remainder of my years.

Matt 16:18 - And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Luke 16:23 - and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.

Rev 1:18 - and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.

I posted 4 examples of the literalness of Hades, and then I posted 6 examples of the metaphorical, and figurativeness of Hades. We must make the distinction of the 2.

For example. Look at the story of the rich man and lazarus in Luke 16. Notice in verse 23,"and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side."

From what you now know--the Greek for hades means grave, and those who are in the grave are dead(no life), you must ask yourself this question," How can one lift his/her eyes and see someone from the grave?

Eccl 9:5 - For the living will know that they shall die; but the dead know nothing, and there is no longer any reward to them, for their memory is lost.

There is no actual thinking, praising, speaking, or lifting of us(in a literal sense), beyond the grave. Why? because you are dead

Now lets go to the place called Geenna. I want to note this interesting place. First off, in order to understand Geenna, we must understand what it is.

Outside, and south of Jerusalem, there was a place called the valley of hinnom(The city dump). In that valley, babies were sacrificed to the canaanite god molech, criminals were sent there, dead animal & human corpses were burned there, there were always worms, and the fire was always burning.... sound familair? You better believe it, for Jesus used this same language to figuratively describe the eternal destruction of the wicked.

Look at what Isaiah said in 66:24 - And they shall go forth, and see the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against Me; for their worm shall not die, and their fire shall not be quenched; and they shall be a spectacle to all flesh.”

Notice the same language. Now let me show you what Jesus says about this place called Geenna--where this Greek word is used figuratively.

Matt 5:22 - But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire(Geenna).

Matt 5:30 - And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell(Geenna). This verse is an hypoberle.. meaning its a graphic exaggeration to make a strong point if you will. It is not meant to be taken literal. You cant enter heaven with something missing(laugh). As Ravi Zacharias says,"Let my people think!!"

Matt 23:33 - You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell(Geenna)?

I will stop right there. Now, when the wicked dies, they will not go to a literal torture chamber screaming their lungs out because its too hot and they're there forever. They will be destroyed, as in non existent, as If they were never born. They will be destroyed

Matt 10:28 - And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell(Geenna).

Also I want to note Rev 20:15 - And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire(Geenna).

The phrase "lake of fire" carries the Greek word Geenna. This is figurative, for you must ask yourself this question," How in the world can you have real lake of fire that burns and burns? Will God throw some kind of oil on the water lol? Its a "lake of fire" meaning, in a literal sense, there is no water!, but only fire, less one says "the lake of water and fire" Bare with me here people(laugh)

Again, Ravi Zacharias, a renowed christian philosopher & apologist says,"Let my people think!"

Only the righteous will see life, but the wicked will see death

Let us see life forevermore!!
Minister Watson,
You continue to mention your understanding of things. State of Mind(Being) is regarding the consciousness of one"s soul. Hell will be experienced by those outside of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paradise/Heaven will be experienced by those who are sealed by the Holy Ghost. If everyone is being placed in these areas as they die, then what is the need for the Rapture and Great Judgement? You need to do more study on this matter before citing personal views or bad teachings.
Another note: In Genesis, Abel cried out from the grave. Aman's soul(being) is immortal. God created us to be immortal. Souls can be locked up as in the Lake of Fire mentioned in Revelation. The truth shall make you free........... If we be willing and obedient, then we shall eat the good of the land. A-men
YOU ARE INCORRECT AND SPREADING HERESIES!
Your theology is of man and my divinity is of God. There is a difference. Your wits are carnal and dumb with God. I only am attempting to enlighten you before the Judgement of God comes upon you.
True definitions are what the people is entitled to. Not philosophies!!! I know the truth.... Read Luke 12:41-48 and Hosea 4:6. Praise God.
I will no longer waste my time with heretics. Those who desires the truth may receive assistance from me. By the way, I am Apostle, Riley. Too many of church folks do not have militray protocols. Many people will be disordained and feel out of place. The five offices were given to the church by the Lord Jesus Christ because of disorder and disrespect (Read Ephesians, chapter 4). Formal education do not make a relationship with God. I have spiritual degree which you may never obtain.
True Hell is the Lake of Fire-Eternal Punishment for the wicked and evil........ No Hell exits right now. There is a state of hell for those who dies out of Christ just like there is a paradise for those who are in Christ. A-men
Anthony,

My brother, with those same 88 references, I can prove to you from the Greek that hell indeed is the grave. If half of those references are from the OT, then it will be the grave, but if most of them are from the NT, then both Greek words for "hell" is used. Are you up for the challenge?
