- I grew up a Preacher's Kid, always wrapped around my daddy's leg, at every service and by his side. Like many PK's, I became fed up with the "church" seeing so much up close and personal but not understanding why circumstances and situations wouldn't change. All of the negativity and my own trials discouraged me from answering the call on my life. "There's got to be more to it than this!".....and there was, I got away from the god in my life (my daddy) and began my own personal relationship with Christ! Oh Hallelujah!!!! For the first time I was seeing for myself the promises of God. It has been 16 glorious years since these words have changed my life:
James 1:21-27
21Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
It was my responsibility to make the change!!!! I decree and declare this is my season to grow and experience the manifestation of God's promises in my life and the lives of those bold enough to take God at His word. Everything I write, everything I sing and every speech is for the glory of the Lord. Every gift He has given me I give back to Him. Lord, use me, flow through me, I am available.....this vessel belongs to Christ. Selah and Amen

Psalm 27:10 (Amplified Bible)
10Although my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].(A)
There should never be a time when a child is uncertain about the love a parent has or doesn't have for them.This applies to grown ups as well. We can be rejected by family, society, coworkers and not feel we belong. SELAH.....Please know, we as ministers are not always understood or received....but to God be the Glory...Our Father… Continue

4-6 No carved gods of any size, shape, or form of anything whatever, whether of things that fly or walk or swim. Don't bow down to them and don't serve them because I am God, your God, and I'm a most jealous God, punishing the children for any sins their parents pass on to them to the third, and yes, even to the fourth generation of those who hate me.
