Gifts of the Spirit

As we explore our spiritual gifts and calling in our bible study, sometimes it is difficult to decipher which gift is more prevalent and which one applies to different aspects of our calling... I have seen people struggle with their calling because they can not determine what true talent is given and predestined by God because it comes so naturally, it is sometimes overlooked. So the struggle grows and people get connnected to a ministry that doesn't necessarily fit their gifts. Sometimes new members are persuaded by friends or invitations by other church members. My concern is the rejection and the direction given to new members. As a Christian, Minister or Pastor how have you found ways to help members become more effective in pinpointing and working in their gifting and calling to include training in spiritual gifts.
