God willing, the Brother Marcus Show will return this weekend on Sunday January 17, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. (EST) with another profound show that will examine the question, “Are you trying to play God in someone else’s life?” During this show, we will discuss why we have a tendency to try to be everything to people instead of encouraging them to see beyond us. We intend to discuss the term, “God complex”. Do some of us have this need in us to actually be worshipped and to be seen as all powerful in the lives of others? Why is our motive for doing, what we do for people so important in 2010? Why do so many people in leadership often end up abusing their power and position of authority? How do the “leaders” allow the people they serve to make a fool out of them? Why don’t and why won’t we lead the people that seem like they depend on us soooo much, to the reality of the only power that is absolutely sustaining our lives? Do we even recognize Him anymore, by whose power, we do all that we do?

On the other hand, why do so many of us look to people to do for us what we could get up and do for our own selves? Why do we love to make it seem like we are so helpless and powerless? What is wrong with our hands or feet, or our able bodies? Why can’t we take up our bed and walk in 2010? We will get into all of these things and offer five character traits that pathetic people manifest for everyone to consider and try on our persons.
