Believers -Where exactly is your final destination

We often hear it said that believers will go to heaven but is this true, where is the final destination for believers, will we be in heaven, is that where we are destined for, Is this where we will spend eternity.

 

Come let us enter a period of discussion and fact findings to see where we will end up in accordance to the word of God.  As a believer doyou know where you will be going?

I really love your discussion they are very appologetic,asking as to come in the defence of God,today I just wish to be very brife on this my dear, First, I must say Christianity is the only Reliogion with this belief all other may not be sure where they go,So it means you are asking asking where we stand, My satnd is to belive in Christ John 5:24 Christ Says he is life,and in the Same St John Road he is going to prepare us ahome, john 14,5,6 Thomas asked this in doubt and got agood answer.
My friend with Christiany its abelive in order to know,not the otherway of Know in order to beliive.
The basis of our foundation and belief is Christ the son of GOD,he told pere that its not flesh and blood who cn areveal this but our father in heaven.
Am just from the church but will give you mre doses on this.

By the way I am not asking anyone to defend God as He needs no defending from man rather it is man who needs God to defend him.

My purpose is to see how well believers know and understand the word of God. There are so many who believe because we have the Bible there is no need for leadership but is that true does beleivers know thr word of God.

The final destination of believer is in the new heaven and earth(Revelation 21-22).

Sorry Brother James are you saying that believers will live in both the new heaven and the new earth at the same time because I can't quite find the verse which state this in either Revelation 21 or 22 so perhaps you could make your answer a touch clearer

So are you saying Brother James that all these years’ believers have been getting it wrong?

Are you are saying on such a simple issue as our destination believers have for all these centuries been saying they will go to heaven but really that is not the case.

Have I summarised you rightly Brother James. In that case if you are right that would mean believers are as grounded in the word as they think they are because if you ask a believer where they are heading the answer will be heaven.

The early church never believed that man ascends to heaven at death. No one does. Genesis 2:7 says that Yah blew in the nostils of the man.... the breath of life, and then this man became a living soul.

Formula: Body + Spirit = Living soul.

Death is the substraction of life(the Spirit).

Formula: Body - Spirit = Non-living soul(non existent).

If man goes to heaven when he dies, then his whole being has to go as well. Its the same if a man was to go to a burning hell at death. All spiritts of man returns back to Yah.

I never said that all will be dead. At the second coming of Yeshua, for which the rapture is on the same day, the souls in their graves shall receive, once again, the breath of life. that's correct, everyone returns to dust,and the spirit returns to Yah. Their soul is no more, because a soul is the combination of two things.

I, with strong conviction, believe we will end up in heaven for 1,000 year rein and then come back to earth will we will be for all eternity.

As to how we will travel there, the word says we will rise to meet the Lord in the air. I would believe we will go the same way He came.

Well Margie said we will spend eternity on earth, but she lost me when she said we would get there by rising in the air. I always assume it would be heaven you need to rise to as we are on earth but guess what we are here on a fact finding mission shame she did not state any scriptures especially the one which says we will rise to the air to get to earth

My final destination according to the scriptures If I continue to keep the commandments of God. I will be raised in the 1st resurrection to rule with Christ 1000 years in his kingdom here on Earth in Jerusalem.
