Christmas a Sabbath?

This time of year there are groups who want to remind us of the commercialization of December 25th.
Other who want to point out the obvious,
1. Jesus could not have been born on December 25th
2. This was Saturnalia, a pagan festival

Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

We are all familiar with this command, it does not say Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
By definition sabbath is an INTERMISSION, a rest,

We need to get over the petty nonsense and worship our Lord.
It don't matter if you went in debt buying stuff.
It don't matter if the Romans first had Saturnalia.
It don't matter about the tree.
It don't matter about the pretty wrapped boxes.

All that matters is that you have an INTERMISSION in your life to worship your Lord.
So you went to church on Sunday; now your through, you can not do it again on Friday?

I believe I stated Christmas came from Saturnalia as a pagan celebration.
So??

It is not a pagan day anymore.
It is Christmas.

No I am wrong, it has been paganized by commerce and being called a holiday.
When we celebrate that day we have set it aside to rejoice in the birth it is a sabboth.

When Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit there was no gun to their head. They had ALL THE OTHER TREES to choose from. And what happened? Eve was deceived. Adam went along with it but blamed her for his crime. And as a result they were both kicked out and lost their immortality.

To them it may have been such a small matter..... such a small thing..... but did it matter? If it matters to YHWH then IT MATTERS.

You have 364 other days to think about the birth of Yeshua and I bet none of you would think about his birth AT ALL if this wasn't used as the excuse for Christmas. The only reason why his birth is even celebrated is to hide the fact that Dec 25th is A BIRTHDAY. Over 30 years! 30 years and not once do we read of a birthday party in the NT. The birth is just a smokescreen for what Christmas is really about. The SUN is the reason for the season. And it is Lucifer, the lightbearer who is represented. But it doesn't matter, right? You might as well say the bible doesn't matter because you're taking Christmas over the bible.

Exodus 20:9 says you have 6 days to do all your work. There are many many trees in the Garden.

Exodus 20:10 says but the 7th day is the sabbath. By definition a sabbath is a day of rest but not every day was COMMANDED by YHWH to be HOLY. It was the seventh. And you can go back and read how he sanctified the very first sabbath in creation week because that was when he rested. IN keeping the sabbath we follow a tradition created FOR us by our Creator. December 25th was not created for us. It was created for the devil by the devil. Its the FORBIDDEN FRUIT, handed to you on a silver platter by the forces of evil. And you want us to think it doesn't matter when YHWH says not to do it??

Also, remember that God's word says, He (God)will not share His glory with another; anything that brings glory to Christ, brings glory to God. Therefore, how can we who are called according to His purposes continue to share HIS glory with Santa. Saints we must also remember that words truly do mean something. If they did not, the word of God would not teach us that "THE POWER OF BOTH LIFE AND DEATH LIE WITHIN THE TONGUE;" it also informs us that we can murder with our tongue. With that being said, here is something that I was taught in the first grade (back in the EARLY '70's). When Santa is rearranged, there is one very important word that is found there: SATAN. How clever is the enemy? He has made it EXTREMELY easy for us to discover his deception, but many of us have chosen to remain ignorant (a state of lacking knowledge). Let he who desire wisdom and knowledge therefore aquire it. He who desires it not abhors it. If we desire to PLEASE God with all that we do and say, we will seek truth and embrace it; we will stop celebrating with the heathen and allow EVERY day to be celebrated with both the life and death of our risen Savior.
