Good morning BPN family.

Today, Christians around the world are observing GOOD FRIDAY; the day set aside to acknowledge Christ Jesus' death on the cross.

On TAG's homepage, I've posted a GOOD FRIDAY message titled

 "Coloring Outside The Lines"

Here's an excerpt from the message:

Our lives are like a perfect picture on a coloring page.
We expect things
to be just as we imagine.
And we want everyone and everything to stay inside the lines.
But, Jesus colors outside the lines of our expectations.

When you get a moment, please read the message and watch the video.  Feel free to share the message
with your family and friends.

I am truly sorry but, why do you promote this, and you know it is wrong?
Why I say this is because of this?

Good Friday is when Jesus allegedly died, and Easter Sunday he rose from the dead. The Bible does not support this.

Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

It said that the Messiah would be cut off, but not for himself, and he would be cut off in the midst of the week or middle of the week.. What day is that? Wednesday by the Roman Calendar that Julius Caesar created we use today. July is named after him.. Look it up.. Anyways he died on a Wednesday.

Matthew 12:38-40 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Get 3 days and 3 nights from Good Friday Evening to Easter Sunday Morning..

Matthew 28:1-6 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

It said in the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day.. So, it was still Saturday, and began to dawn toward the first day of the week. Mary and the other Mary went to see Jesus and he was already gone when they got there in the end of the Sabbath.. So, you know he rose on the Sabbath or Saturday...

Now He died on a Wednesday, and Rose on the Sabbath or Saturday.. Let's count it out 3 days and 3 nights.

Wednesday he died before sundown, so that's1 night. Thursday it's a day and a night, so that's 1 day and 2 nights he is in the grave. Friday it's a day and a night, so that is 2 days and 3 nights. Saturday it's a day, and he rose right before sundown, so that makes 3 days and 3 nights, and that fits right with what the scriptures say..

Let's count Good Friday evening to Easter Sunday morning. Friday evening is 1 night. Saturday is a day and a night, so that 1 day and 2 nights, and he rose Sunday morning so you can't count that, but even if you did, it is still only 2 days and 2 nights... A tradition of man and not according to the scriptures.. This is why I asked why you are promoting tradition over the Bible.... Here are the scriptures for that.

Revelation 17:1-5 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Isaiah 29:9-13 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Matthew 15:1-9 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Isaiah 28:9-13 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

2Timothy 4:1-4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

2Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
