Hello Friends,

  Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust n the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.”  God has done just that!

I recently heard Deloris “E” Jordan, {Inspirational Speaker, Evangelist, author, and Advocate}first a servant of God, she spoke to a large group of women at Women’s Empowerment 2010 in Raleigh-Durham, NC and MTSU 2010 Sexual Assault Awareness Month - Sponsored by the June Anderson Women's Center, National Women's History Month Committee and Women in Action-she was the Keynote Speaker, I was greatly moved by her testimony.  She is a survivor of sexual abuse at the hands of her father.  While this unfortunate situation occurs much more than we know, I was encouraged and inspired that she is speaking openly about her struggle to be whole. Even though Ms. Jordan is confronted with being the older sister of sports star Michael Jordan, she still presses towards the goals God has for her and shares her story in hopes to make a difference in the lives of others!
