Psalm 74:20: “Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.”
It is from the dark places that wicked stones are thrown at the sons of men.
If you are to be a battle-axe for the Lord, you will face a lot of problems.
You cannot become God’s general without confronting adversity and afflictions
Adversity is that unwanted enemy who continues to knock at our door in the middle of the night calling us again and again to come and fight.
Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servant of the Lord and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”
Proverbs 28:10: “Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit, but the upright shall have good things in possession.”
