"LIFE COACHING" WHAT?

OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, A "NEW" MINISTRY OF SORTS HAS FILTERED INTO THE CHURCH, THAT BEING THE "LIFE COACH". CONSIDERING THE FOUNDATIONAL STRUCTURE AND EVEN THE "INFA-STRUCTURE OF CHRIST'S CHURCH, WHERE, EXACTLY ON THE GRID DOES THIS PARTICULAR "MINISTRY FALL, AND HOW RELEVANT IS TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF GOD'S KINGDOM AND OUR GREAT COMMISSION?

The "Life-Coach" seemed to have taken two particular positions that the Bible called key to Kingdom development:

-Father/Mother in the Faith: No longer do they respect fathers in the faith or mothers in Zion, but the life coach is now the one who raises up these young in the Church. Like any team you have many coaches. However you do not have "many fathers" as many think. You go from team to team and get a bunch of coaches along the way, but you have only ONE set of parents. I have seen many come along and say to me "I want you to be my spiritual father". A lot of these are nothing more than run-aways, leaving home because they didn't want to "adhere to mom and pop's rules." Go home and stop looking for life coaches and a bunch of different parents; return back to the fourth commandment. If you notice, these are the ones that are stagnant with big dreams but not parental implantation or release, the results of NO DISCIPLINE. In the professional world of sports, more often than not, the Coach gets fired faster than the player gets traded.

-Leader/Teacher: Coaches can be great teachers, but what happens when you have a "player" that goes off of raw talent and makes a few highlights? Oh sure, they'll be celebrated, make talk shows, and be on the cover of a Wheaties box.

Are they champions? Not necessarily, but they have great "individual achievements": MVP Rookie of the Year, All-Star team member, ect.

But are they Champions?

Not yet, but they set records for they team and are called the best of their generation.....

But are they champions?

No, but they have the biggest contract....

BUT ARE THEY CHAMPIONS!??!!?

These players are looking for a Life Coach that will give them the ball all the time, teaching them "There's no I in TEAM, but there sure are the letters M-E". Michael Jordan was a great player, but he didn't win not ONE championship without his team. The "Life-Coach" has replaced and usurped the Apostolic leader, making ministry their game to run plays on. I have seen Evangelistic ministries do Evangelism drills for months and months, calling themselves a Kingdom minded ministry, yet having one convert every 6 months, or one baptism every year, and worse, NO ONE filled with the HOLY GHOST be it by breathing on them, the laying on of hands, GOD just descending on them or anything!!!! The Apostolic Leader/Teacher however, does this on the regular. A million and one copies of their book sold and not a drop of HOLY SPIRIT spoken of or imparted:

-"7 Steps To A Turn Around"
-"Purpose Driven Life"
-"Your Best Life Now!"
and the New York Times list can easily go on....

A thousand different "Kingdom Gatherings", and "Prophetic Summits", and (my personal favorite) "Leadership Seminars For Church Growth", but the Apostles & Prophets are not saying that the Church is getting better, but WORSE!
