Which seem to be of more concern to most church leaders? What do you see today in Christianity? A burden for souls or a desire for head count? Now I am deciphering the 2 because there are those that come to church to fulfill a since of religion that they feel we all must have and there are those that really want to go to the Cross with Jesus DAILY.

Now, again my question is do our church leaders care more about lost souls or loss of members. I don’t need to explain what I means as most of us will understand.

Sadly what you say brother Leigh is true.
It is unfortunate, but most leaders today perceive the scripture to say that "He who winneth church members is wise" $$$$ for this will increase unto more earthly goods for he who sitteth in the pulpits. ...lol.. While the sheep who sitteth in the pews continue to pray for their season and harvest to come in.

I will rebuke you openly if your tithe envelope comes back blank and empty. But he who payeth the piper (preacher) receiveth much reward from their faith and waiting on of a blessing. Your lifestyle doesn't matter to us because coming to Church is what really matters.

Imagine if this much initiative was taken when ministering to a lost soul. Is it me or do so called Christians really not care about lost souls. If we truly cared we would not lead people to a Counterfeit Christ with false hopes of salvation through half truths. We would give it to them straight as not to comprise the truth. Only the truth will set men and women free. It doesn't do anyone a bit of good to get 3 selections from the choir, a hip hop praise dance from the youth, 2 rounds of the offering plate and a 30 second sermon full of nothing. And oh, let's not forget the half hearted altar call where we will only spend 10 minutes with someone who is in need of a real breakthrough. We'll just have you fill out a visitors card and get back to you and those habits you need deliverance from. But hey, if you want to join and become a tither, I am sure we can work something out.

Now, I know that not all ministries function this way, but for those that do, those souls that are lost matters too. If one soul is lost as a result of a false prophet, that is just too many.
It seems that when true questions are asked,a separation occurs,we all know where these things are going on at,and instead of asking for a explanation ,many just conform to the status qou.No sense in lying it's been so ingrained in our communities that if you go against it,you're a liar and the truths not in you.Berating the congregation in some instances,is the way, they keep most who are trapped in false worship attending the PERFORMANCE!
2COR;11;6-FOR SUCH ARE FALSE APOSTLES,DECEITFUL WORKERS,TRANFORMING THEMSELVES INTO THE APOSTLES OF CHRIST
2COR11;31-THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST,WHICH IS BLESSED FOREVERMORE,KNOWETH THAT I LIE NOT!
I have to say in reference to the leaders I know, souls are the most important thing and has always been. We have got to marvel not at the wolves in sheep's clothing for we were warned of them.

BUT everyone has not bowed to Baal, there is a remnant that will serve God and we have good leaders that are concern more with souls than members and this should be what the world sees us focus on instead of the negative.
Sad to say but what I have witnessed mostly that the concern is more about members because when you lose people you lose money. I am at a church where I can say the Pastor is the first I have witness that cares about souls I know there are more like him around but honestly it's not as TRANSPARENT as it use to be like in the old days.
Well then whats even sadder is the fact that they don't realize, the more concern for souls they have, the more God will bless them.

One reason it's not like the old days is money was scarce for most.
The concern should be for both. Yehwah says through the Prophet Jeremiah 23:1-2,"Woe to the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of their pasture! Therefore thus saith the Lord against them that tend my people; Ye have scattered my sheep, and driven them out, and ye have not visited them: behold, I will take vengeance upon you according to your evil practices."

Some care more about their members, and some care about the lost souls. But, the concern should be for both.
