Mat 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:"

Its self-explanatory....Its the GREAT COMMISSION of Christ, to go to the world of the unreached and unevangelized to bring the good news of Jesus the Christ where His name is not yet known to make disciples, teaching and baptizing them in the knowledge of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

There are still many nations, approximately 3,200 people groups who never heard of the only one who has the authority to forgive sins and to redeem their souls. There are over 200 million people in the world who have no scripture in their Mother Tongue translated into their heart language to know the character of God. How can one disciple and build churches without the centerpiece of our faith, the Bible.


We are all called to do and complete the finished work of Christ while there is still light........

Matt 28:19 what does that mean?
19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The Lord gave this commission to those who believed on him as an evangelistic mission to reach any and everyone that had yet heard the gospel. The whole intent was to build up his Kingdom.

I. Jesus Provoked Jealousy
A. Mt. 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken
from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
1.(Gospel)Matthew depicts Jesus as a King of the Jews (Mt. 2:1-2)
2.The Jews rejected Jesus as their King (Mt.21:42) (Mt.13:57)
B. Mt. 27:29-37 – Proven Rejection
1. His own shouted crucify him, despite his Kingship
2. Jesus was mocked as a King even at the point of Crucifixion
II. Jesus Provided Baptism
A. Mt. 20:20-23 …..(23)Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with:
B. Mt. 3:16 - …………Spirit of God descending………
1. (A Spiritual Baptism Proceeded A Natural Baptism)
2. (Mt. 3:11 - He will baptize with the Holy Ghost)
3. (John 7:39 – believe and receive the Holy Ghost)
III. Jesus Promoted Believe & Receive
A. Romans 10:13-15a – (the preacher points the person to the power)
B. John 17:20-21 – (Jesus prayed that we would believe and receive him)
C. John 20:29-31 – (The Bible was written for belief in Jesus & Reception of the Holy Ghost)
IV. Jesus Placed It All In “THE NAME”
A. Name – ‘greek: (on’-om-ah) representing nature, character, and authority
B. “Nature” – SPIRIT, John 4:24
C. “Character” – LOVE, 1 John 4:8, 16
D. “Authority” – WORD, Luke 4:36…..what a word is this! (John 15:7)
E. The believer must be baptized in the essence(spirit-love-word) of the Trinity.
V. Go out among others who haven’t rejected me and provoke them by providing that which you know of me, whereby promoting to them an avenue to receive and accept me in my totality(essence), thus becoming one of my very own, therefore building up my Kingdom.

So why are we as a collective not fulfilling this mandate in reaching the world in the Global harvest where there are no churches, bibles nor ministers of the Gospel in the remaining people groups who are apart from Christ and the Good News of the free gift of salvation?

The Gospel is being spread now more than ever before all across this globe. we all just have to do our own individual part in this mandate. So I suggest that if a person is not involved with foreign missions then they can at least invest in those that are. And even if a person can't go across the globe, they can find someone in their own community who hasn't heard about "Jesus Christ". We have alot of work to do at home as well as abroad......

Not true, there are over 1.8 billion people on the earth who have never heard of the only name that can redeem their souls and forgive their sins and throw their sins in the sea of forgetfulness once one repents and put all their trust in Jesus the Christ. There is no excuse for those in america to not know Jesus the Christ with a church on every corner. For every 1 minister of the Gospel in america for 182 people. In the 10/40 window of the most unevangelized parts of the world there is only 1 minister of the Gospel for every 78,000 people. Where is the greater need.

Act 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

We are charged by the above verse to be witnesses "BOTH" at home and abroad simultaneously without leaving the other undone. The great commission isn't for a select few, its for all, those who will actually called to go and for the rest who won't go or refuse to go are mandated to support those who do go with financial support and with covering them in prayer and encouragement. When was the last time your church or most black churches really spent time in prayer for missionaries on the front lines and pray for those nations and tribes and tongues still with no scripture or witness to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who are still sacrificing animals to atone for their sins? We as African americans are the least represented on the mission fields, why? I know why cause its not being taught by those who stand behind pulpits cause it will cost the church something is why. I know many african american long term missionaries who always tell me if they had to depend on the black church to support them, they'd starve to death.

Rom 15:20 "yea, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build upon another man's foundation;"

Even a wino in america knows when his momma dies he will say, "my momma is looking 'hiccup' down on me right now". Why does he say that? I'll tell you why cause he has heard about heaven and about Jesus and like most will reject most of His teachings. Even McDonalds won't put another McDonalds within a 5 mile radius from each other, why do we do this with the churches? I'll tell you, for the same reason why 96% of every pastor preaches and teaches in america, for the all encompassing green paper or mammon is why. Did the Apostles after witnessing firsthand the resurrected Christ stay in Jerusalem, or worse yet stay at Pentecost in safe mausoleums getting their "holy ghost" party on, while the rest of the world suffered in hopelessness without knowing that God has a son that He sent to seek and to save that which is lost? What is the book of ACTION, called Acts about anyway? Its the continuing work of Christ and the only way Christ could possible return, since He said that He will return when every creature has heard of His first coming.

Is it fair for those who have heard of the Gospel twice, while others haven't had the oppurtunity to hear the Gospel once?

As a Pastor, and person, I myself understand the need for this mandate. The Church in which I serve in contribute to missionary funding every Sunday and a set aside service with contribution and the honoring of missionaries all across this globe on 5th Sundays. As I stated before, everyone has to do there part and those that are doing their part lets keep generating that energy on that and not on who's not. This isn't a legalism, it's a liberty.

Now let us read Matthew 28:19:

What is the NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT?

Brother, let me remind you of something.

Indeed, Jesus told His disciples:

"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come”.

John 16:12-13

“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth…”

Brother the Holy Spirit has revealed to the Apostles the NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT.

Let us see:

“Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”.

Acts 2:38

The NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT is JESUS CHRIST.

Truly speaking, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other NAME under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Acts 4:12

That NAME (singular) under heaven given to men by which we must be saved is JESUS CHRIST.

Truly speaking, “All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his NAME."
Acts 10:43

That NAME (singular) given to men through which they receive forgiveness of sins is JESUS CHRIST.
Truly speaking, Jesus said to the Father: "I have revealed your NAME to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.
John 17:6

That NAME (singular) of the Father is JESUS CHRIST.

This is the reason why brother Paul said:

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him”.

Colossians 3:17

WHATEVER YOU DO, WETHER IN WORD OR DEED, DO IT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS.

See, here, Lord Jesus is THE NAME, whereas Father is simply a Title.

Isn’t water baptism a deed?

If it is a deed, then the Bible says “WHATEVER YOU DO, WETHER IN WORD OR DEED, DO IT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS”.

Why do you want to do everything in the Name of Jesus Christ but exclude water baptism?

Why do you make such a restriction?

It is simply because you have not yet received the revelation about the NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT (Matthew 28:19).

WHAT IS THE ONE BAPTISM THAT IS REQUIRED OF BY OUR LORD JESUS?

There is ONE GOD, ONE PERSON, and there is also ONE BAPTISM. Not two but ONE BAPTISM:

It is the water baptism practised by IMMERSION in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

Indeed, the Bible says that we are “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone”.
Ephesians 2:20

If you are really built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone, then you must practise the water baptism as the Apostles of Jesus Christ did.

All the Apostles of Jesus Christ practised the same water baptism

Please, read the message below:

"Now that is the revelation: Jesus Christ is God. The Jehovah of the Old Testament is the Jesus of the New. No matter how hard you try, you can’t prove there are THREE Gods. But it also takes a revelation by the Holy Spirit to make you understand the truth that He is One. It takes a revelation to see that the Jehovah of the Old Testament is the Jesus of the New. Satan crept into the church and blinded the people to this truth. And when they were blinded to it, it wasn’t long until the Church of Rome stopped baptizing in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I admit that it takes a real revelation from the Holy Ghost to see the truth about the Godhead these days when we are in the midst of the perverting of so much Scripture. But the prevailing, overcoming church is built on revelation so we can expect God to reveal His truth to us. However, you actually don’t need a revelation on water baptism. It is right there staring you in the face. Would it be possible for one minute for the apostles to be led astray from a direct command of the Lord to baptize in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost and then find them in willful disobedience? They knew what the Name was, and there is not one place in Scripture where they baptized any other way than in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ. Common sense would tell you that the Book of Acts is the church in action, and if they baptized that way, then that is the way to baptize. Now if you think that is strong, what do you think of this? Anyone who was not baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus had to be baptized over again.
Acts 19:1-6, "And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on Him Which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues and prophesied." There it is. These good people at Ephesus had heard about the coming Messiah. John had preached Him. They were baptized unto repentance of sins, looking FORWARD to believing on Jesus. But now it was time to look BACK to Jesus and be baptized unto REMISSION of sins. It was time to receive the Holy Ghost. And when they were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Paul laid his hands on them and the Holy Ghost came upon them.
Oh, those dear folks at Ephesus were fine people; and if any one had a right to feel secure, they did. Notice how far they had come. They had come all the way up to accepting the coming Messiah. They were ready for Him. But don’t you see that in spite of that they had missed Him? He had come and gone. They needed to be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. They needed to be filled with the Holy Ghos ed in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, God will fill you with His Spirit. That is the Word. Acts 19:6 which we read was the fulfilling of Acts 2:38, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." See, Paul, by the Holy Ghost, said exactly what Peter said by the Holy Ghost. And what was said CANNOT be changed. It has to be the same from Pentecost until the very last elected one has been baptized. Galatians 1:8, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
Now some of you Oneness people baptize wrong. You baptize for regeneration as though being immersed in water saved you. Regeneration does not come by water; it is a work of the Spirit. The man who by the Holy Ghost gave the command, "Repent and be baptized every one in the Name of the Lord Jesus," did not say that water regenerated. He said it was only an evidence of a "good conscience toward God." That was all. I Peter 3:21, "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." I believe it.
If anyone has any false ideas that history can prove water baptism in any other way than in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I would advise you to read the histories and find out for yourself. The following is a true record of a Baptism which took place in Rome A.D. 100 and was reproduced in TIME magazine, December 5, 1955. "The deacon raised his hand, and Publius Decius stepped through the baptistry door. Standing waist-deep in the pool was Marcus Vasca the woodseller. He was smiling as Publius waded into the pool beside him. ‘Credis?’ he asked. ‘Credo,’ responded Publius. ‘I believe that my salvation comes from Jesus the Christ, Who was crucified under Pontius Pilate. With Him I died that with Him I may have Eternal Life.’ Then he felt strong arms supporting him as he let himself fall backward into the pool, and heard Marcus’ voice in his ear ---- ‘I baptize you in the Name of the Lord Jesus’ ---- as the cold water closed over him."
Right up until the truth was lost (and did not return until this last age ---- this is from Nicaea till the turn of this century) they baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. But it has come back. Satan can’t keep the revelation down when the Spirit wants to give it.
Yes, if there were three Gods, you might very well baptize for a Father, and a Son, and a Holy Ghost. But the REVELATION GIVEN TO JOHN was that there is ONE GOD and His Name is LORD JESUS CHRIST, and you baptize for ONE God and only one. That is why Peter baptized the way he did at Pentecost. He had to be true to the revelation which was, "Let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that SAME JESUS, Whom ye have crucified, BOTH LORD AND CHRIST." There He is, "The LORD JESUS CHRIST."
If Jesus is "BOTH" Lord and Christ, then He (Jesus) is, and cannot be else but "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost" in ONE Person manifested in the flesh. It is NOT "God in three persons, blessed trinity," but ONE GOD, ONE PERSON with three major titles, with three offices manifesting those titles. Hear it once more. This same Jesus is "BOTH Lord and Christ." Lord (Father) and Christ (Holy Spirit) are Jesus, for He (Jesus) is BOTH of them (Lord and Christ).
If that doesn’t show us the true revelation of the Godhead, nothing will. Lord is NOT another one; Christ is NOT another one. This Jesus is the Lord Jesus Christ --- ONE GOD.
Philip one day said to Jesus, "Lord, show us the Father and it will suffice us." Jesus said unto him, "Have I been so long with you and you don’t know Me? He that has seen Me has seen the Father, so why do you say, Show us the Father? I and My Father are One." I quoted that once and a lady said, "Just a minute, Mr. Branham, you and your wife are one."
I said, "Not that kind."
She said, "I beg your pardon?"
So I said to her, "Do you see me?"
She said, "Yes."
I said, "Do you see my wife?"
She said, "No."
I said, "Then that oneness is a different kind, for He said, ‘When you see Me, you see the Father.’"
The prophet said that it would be light at the evening time. In the hymn it is written:
It’ll be Light in the evening time,
The path to Glory you will surely find,
In the water way, that’s the Light today,
Buried in the precious Name of Jesus.
Young and old, repent of all your sin,
The Holy Ghost will surely enter in.
The evening Light has come ---
It is a fact that God and Christ are one.
Not too long ago I was talking to a Jewish Rabbi. He said to me, "You Gentiles can’t cut God in three pieces and give Him to a Jew. We know better than that."
I said to him, "That’s just it, Rabbi, we don’t cut God in three pieces. You believe the prophets, don’t you?"
He said, "Certainly I do."
"Do you believe Isaiah 9:6?"
"Yes."
"Who was the prophet speaking of?"
"Messiah."
I said, "What relation will Messiah be to God?"
He said, "He will be God."
I said, "That’s right." Amen.
You can’t put God into three persons or three parts. You can’t tell a Jew that there is a Father, and a Son, and a Holy Ghost. He will tell you right quick where that idea came from. The Jews know this creed was established at the Nicene Council. No wonder they scorn us as heathen.
We talk about a God that does not change. The Jews believe that too. But the church changed its unchanging God from ONE to THREE. But the light is returning at eventide. How striking it is that this truth has come at the time when the Jews are returning to Palestine. God and Christ are ONE. This Jesus is BOTH LORD AND CHRIST.
John had the revelation, and JESUS was the Revelation, and He produced Himself right here in the Scripture ---- "I AM He That Was, Which Is and Shall Come, the Almighty. Amen."
If revelation is beyond you, look up and seek God for it. That is the only way you are ever going to get it. A revelation has to come from God. It never comes by human, natural endowments, but by Spiritual enduement. You can even memorize the Scripture, and though that is wonderful, that won’t do it. It has to be a revelation from God. It says in the Word that no man can say that Jesus is the Christ except by the Holy Ghost. You have to receive the Holy Ghost and then, and only then, can the Spirit give you the revelation that Jesus is the Christ: God, the Anointed One".

It is interesting to note that that the Hebrew Matthew 28:19 tells us to immerse in the name of Yeshua, rather than the "trinity", if you will. The Hebrew Matthew 28:19 agrees with Peter when He told the people In Acts 2:38 to be immersed in the name of Yeshua. I always wondered why there was a difference in immersion formula between what Yeshua said, and what Peter said. The Hebrew Matthew brings it to light.

Anyways, what does Matt 28:19 mean? The first part orders the Apostles to go into all the word and Teach Torah to the nations. The word disciple means "student". We are to make students of people, that they may learn Torah & The Prophets, and of course, about faith and salvation through Yeshua. The second part, to immerse in water. This goes back to the beginning of Matthew. John was immersing people in water because of their repentance of sins. We are to go into all the word to train students in Yahweh's word, immersing them in water, that they may be ritually purified.

Yes true and the students (Disciples) are to then be trained to be Apostles so they too can create more students (Disciples) to Disciple their own people. But first things first, the Word of God and the Torah must first be published for how can one Disciple without first having God's Word translated in their own mother tongue which can take approximately over 20 years to do so.
