1 Corinthians 9:20
To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.

To the Jews I became as a Jew - Conforming myself in all things to their manner of thinking and living, so far as; I could with innocence. To them that are under the law - Who apprehend themselves to be still bound by the Mosaic law. As under the law - Observing it myself, while I am among them. Not that he declared this to be necessary, or refused to converse with those who did not observe it. This was the very thing which he condemned in St. Peter, Gal 2:14.

count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! 16Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

Galatians 4

21Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says? 22For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. 23His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.

24These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. 25Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. 26But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. 27

Romans 8:3 For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

Hebrews 7:19 (for the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

17Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and brag about your relationship to God; 18if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law; 19if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, 20an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— 21you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? 22You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? 24As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”

28A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise is not from men, but from God.

Romans 8:2

because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Does that mean we can all commit adultery and dishonor our parents now because Jesus kept the Law perfectly for us all?
No...it means we wouldn't want to do thoes things because we love God...
Oh so there are laws we still have to keep?
THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT..

Romans 8:2
because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

If you have kids...do you feed them because the law says you have to take care of them..or because you love them?
So what laws can we disregard since Jesus kept them all perfectly for us?
I need to know what laws are of the Spirit of life and which are the ones not to worry about since Jesus came and died for us?
We don't disregard any of them...they were completely fullfilled by Christ...we are placed in his keeping of the Law...he did it for us...so we are set free from them and the penalty of them if we are truly born again...isn't Jesus awesome!!!

This is not a very good analysis for explaining the Law of the Spirit.

The law doesn't have to tell me to feed my kids because food is necessary for all people simply because it provides nourishment for our physical bodies.

However, one could say that a person does not have to allow sin to rule his life in any situation and if he breaks a law, it does not have to mean immediate physical death. The person can ask for God's forgiveness, repent from breaking this law again and make whatever restitution is appropriate at that time.
Sure it is...the Nation Of Israel Obeyed God because of the fear and punishment for not Obeying...after Christ... we Obey because we Love the Lord from our hearts

Hebrews 10:4
because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Hebrews 10:5Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:
“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
6with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.

7Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—
I have come to do your will, O God.’”a

8First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them” (although the law required them to be made).

9Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Jesus paid the price forever...Jesus is LORD....

Preacher,

There is more to the Torah than the "don't do's." You also have "the do's." Not only should we obey the commands on what not to do, we must also obey the commands that tell us to do.
Matthew 5:19 (King James Version)

19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
1 John 2:3
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments
4.He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
.
John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him
Rev,

That is true, but obedience to the Torah is imperative.
Brother Williams,

Even though we arent justified by the law in the sight of God and shall live by faith - does that mean the saints can disregard all of and any of the laws of God?
