Prayer back in School
PRAYER BACK IN SCHOOL
I would like to argue the fact that the decline of our society is't not the lack of prayer in school, but the lack of prayers "period"!
Prayer in school would be good if we could forbit every other ungodly prayer which is not in line with the Word of God, but since that would be against the "freedom of religion", if we let our prayers back to school we have to allow every other prayer, from the Islam, the Wiccan, the Catholics, etc., we would expose our children, especially those who are very young, to many evil prayers, which it's against the will of God.
God destroyed entire people to protect His people and their children, and He didn't want them to marry pagans or ...unsaved people, because they would corrupt God's children, but they didn't want to listen to God! This is the result we have. So, let's don't blame the school system but ourselves for not listening to God's voice!
I send my children to school to learm Maths, Language History, etc., not religion! Religion should be taught in the church we attend and at home! I receive many prayer request from single mothers and even from couples, whose children are out of line. They are on drugs, they married the wrong person or are sleeping around, etc., etc. These parents want prayer back in school but they don't pray with their children at home! They don't attend church because supposedly, churches are full of "hypocrites". They don't like to go to church, but they would like to ...send their children to church and to Sunday school! But they, themselves, like to attend ...TV Church!!! This is the real problem in our ...so called christian society today!
If reinstate prayer in school and we teach them the doctrine of God, and then we vote for a politician with an agenda which promotes Gays and Abortion freedom with our tax money, then we are the real hypocrits! We teach them one thing and then we do exactly the opposit! The problems are: Lack of commitment and good example on the parents part, lack of prayer at home, lack of church attendance, lack of practicing the Word of God, mixed marriage, lack of marriage commitment, divorces, sexual activity before marriage, and lack of holiness on the part of everyone who claims to be a christian. ...These are the problem in our society today, not the lack of prayer in school.
..."If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
