Remove all Strife: Philippians 2:3

 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind, let each esteem other better than themselves.

Amid the many troubles that our world is facing in one form or another, and as I wondered what to write as words of encouragement, I was led by the Holy Spirit to the above scripture.

Our text asks us to refrain from doing or saying anything in strife, which is in conflict or contention with another, but let it be in love, harmony, peace, and joy. Love removes all hatred and strife as the two cannot live in the same house-person.

Our scripture verse also encourages us to do what we do for others without a boastful pride, but in a humble spirit that will esteem our fellowman. Lifting one another in love is pleasing to God as it emulates Him and His love.

All humanity is God’s created being; just as He loves us all, then we must love instead of hate.
