The Counterfeit before the Blessing!

Dear Prophetess Gwendolyn Hatten-Dillions,

I’d like to first thank you for addressing the topic “Saved Yet Suffering”. Followed by giving us a strong foundation of God’s word on “How do you bounce back from divorce” in Romans 8:15 AMP: For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear”.

As a Christian Man of God, I’d like to “weigh-in” on this discussion having also experienced a divorce. As stated “The question that the young lady asks, implies that being saved somehow should preclude us from a calamity such as divorce”.

I agree with you Prophetess Hatten-Dillions. You would think that being in covenant not only with your spouse but with God would save us from this terrible tragedy. But, we being in covenant with God and with our spouses does not mean that our spouses are in covenant with God and us!

Sometimes, the “Counterfeit will come before the Blessing”. “From Suffering to Glory” continues in Romans 8:18: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us”.

God will reveal and deliver us “The desires of our heart”. But we must be ready to receive it when it comes. And know that sometimes, “The Counterfeit comes before the Blessing”.
