"Self Promotion leads to Divination"
The lord warned, "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking
the glory of the one who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him,"
(John 7:18)...
Nothing will more quickly destroy a prophetic ministry, or any other ministry, than self-
seeking,self promotion,or self preservation...
this is why learning to deal with rejection is mandatory if we are to walk in true ministry.
Rejection is an opportunity to grow in grace and die a little more to ambition, pride and
other motives.... If we embrace rejection "as the discipline of the Lord," we will grow in
grace and love. If we rebel against this discipline, we could be in danger of falling into
witchcraft...
"Every bit of influence that we gain through self promotion will someday become a snare."
All of the money or other resources that we raise through sef promotion will actually be-
come a stumbling block to our ability to walk in the ministry that we've been called to by
God. Whatever is gained by striving and self promotion will have to be sustained by the
same...
"Manipulation and Hype" are deadly enemies, not only to the prophetic, but to any ministry
and those who understand true ministry and true spiritual authority will not want one bit of
influence that, "The Lord " does not give to them...
Those who recieve their authority, recognition, or satisfaction from men will like "King Saul,"
end up in the witch's house...
If we are wise, we will follow "King David's" example-not seeking a position and not even
taking one, until we are certain that God has placed us in it... One of the most frequent
phrases attributed to was that he "inquired of the Lord." (not man)...
Stop asking the Pastor what is my gift and go to the "Gift Giver."
