There is power in the shed Blood of Jesus the Christ. This blood washed all of our sin's away ,Past,Present, and Future. This blood did away with the consequences of the law. It is by Grace that we are saved. The blood of goats, rams, sheep,, even human blood. That blood could only cover , but not wash sin away. The bible says that without the shedding of Blood[ Christ Jesus],there is no remission of sin. The blood of Christ Jesus paid the sin penality of man, woman, boy, and girl.[ whom so ever will ] We must be covered by the blood to have a correct relationship/fellowship with God.

Chaplain,

The Israelites were rehearsing the actual work of Messiah through the feast days and sacrifices. These sacrifices never took away sin completely. You're correct, no man is justified by the Torah. Here's the catch though, no man can enter life without obedience to it! You follow what im saying. Torah itself cannot bring salvation, because man fails and sins all the time. Yet, one cannot enter life without keeping the Torah in obedience.

So many people believe that they can have a relationship with the Messiah without obeying Him or the father. That is simply not scripture. One has a relationship with their human parents, and they do not have to obey their parents rules and teachings? If not, then one breaks the commandment to honor their parents. It is the same with Yah. He is our father, and He saves us, but we still are to be obedient to Him, otherwise we prove to Him that we are not His true children, but are children of disobedience.
James, you are partially correct.

Jesus saves - that was the purpose of Him shedding His blood on the Cross.

It is the same with Yah. He is our father, and He saves us, but we still are to be obedient to Him, otherwise we prove to Him that we are not His true children, but are children of disobedience.

However, upon receiving Jesus into our lives as our Lord & Savior, we are to live in obedience to His commandments.
Amen!!!
Amen SIster!!!
PRAISE GOD!

Does this mean we are actually on one accord Bro. Kunta & Bro. Hezekiah about salvation and after receiving salvation we are to continue living Christ-like through obedience to the Word?
Yes sister. You found how to get salvation. We are happy for you. Now we are on one accord.
Hezekiah,

I am saved, and not by works or keeping the commandments.
Once you are saved, then it is expected of you to live Christ-like through obedience to the Word.
What is obedience to the word?
Obedience to the Word is living according to what "thus saith the Lord."

When you obey the teachings/commandments of the Lord, you will be blessed, not saved. Salvation comes by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
What is salvation?
This whole post is from the imagination of your heart or whoever you learned it from, but it is not from the Bible.
You posted this. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Eplain these scriptures.
