Rom1 :15-17 : So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek
The church is called and mandated tov preach and live the gospel because it’s the way choose by God to reveal His power to redeem the mankind.
Today ,unfortunately the gospel has missed its necessary ingredients and now fill with man religious tought about the power of God.
Yet miracles is happening butb are the lives being changed and transformed ? no ! because the church is preaching its own gospel ,not the gospel of Jesus christ.
I believe here are some ingredients of the gospel of Jesus :
His birth :Luk2 :11 ; Gal4 :4-5
The message about the birth of Jesus Christ is very significant in preaching the gospel because it reveals the POWER OF PURPOSE AND THE ACTING PLAN OF REDEMPTION AND HOPE. Recieving this message is recieving the power of fulfliment of God prophetie is our lives
HIS LIFE :Jn1 :14-17
The message about his life reveals the POWER OF THE REVELATION OF THE FATHER AND OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.Having a close discovering about the life of Jesus we discover who really the Father is and how He want to be with us on the earth .knowing the Father and entering into intimacy with Him release His power.
HIS MINISTRY :Jn10 :10 ; Jn14 :12
The message about his ministryb reveals The POWER OF DESTROYING THE WORK OF THE DEVIL AND MODELING US TO DO THE SAME. All his ministry had demonstrated his authority over the powers of darkness and restoring all satan had stolen in our life.We are called to continue his ministry today and with more great achievements.
HIS DEATH :Gal3 :13 ;Col2 :14-15
The message about his death reveals THE POWER OF REDEMPTION manifested to redeemed us from sin,curses and the kingdom of darkness. The blood shed on the cross had paid all for us and free us form satan authority.Standing in thev blood always assure our victory over satan’s devices.
HIS RESURRECTION :Rom4 :24-25
The message of his resurrection reveals the POWER OF SIGNIFICANCY OF OUR FAITH,OUR ACCEPTANCE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS AND NEWNESS OF LIFE. His resurrection led us in right standing with God where we have ability and power to live a life of righteousness as a new creature.
HIS ASCENSION :Jn14 :12-16
Thec message of his ascension reveals the POWER AND THEV MANDATE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DWELL WITH US FOREVER AS OUR CONFORTER.Jesus went in heaven to position us with him far above principalities,to prepare a place for us and to assure that all prayers we prayed according to the will of God may be answered.We are not alone He is with us « EMMANUEL » through HIS SPIRIT.we must be bold.
HIS MINISTRY OF ADVOCATE : 1jn2 :1
The message of his ministry now reveals the POWER TO COME OUT EVEN IF WE FALL DOWN ;no matter how things will be we can have assurance that He is at thev right of the Father to plead for our sin with a proof of his sacrifice for us.He is interceding for us now so satan can’tb accuse us again.
I believe that before preaching aboutb all we want about the gospel this aspects must be focused first to release the FULLNESS of the POWER OF THE GOSPEL.
These are things we must preach about, recieve ;know about ;believe on ;meditate on ;and life with.
May God help us.
