THE MARK OF THE BEAST EXPLAINED
Revelation 7
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.”
Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.
here we see God speak of tow distinct marks, these marks are given to mark God's chosen people ( believers ) and to mark Satan's people, ( unbelievers).
I've heard many different stories of what people think theses marks are, so i thought i would write this to explain what the bible says the marks are according to scripture.
some believe the marks are a computer chip placed in the hands of those who belong to Satan, this would make no sense, this would be too obvious,Satan is cunning.
some believe the mark is our social security number, this too would make no sense, and would be too obvious.
well the truth is as we read the scriptures above, God puts a mark on his peoples foreheads, and Satan also puts the mark on the forehead or the hand,
Satan wants to act like God, he'll copy whatever God does to deceive people.
now i believe I've met some true Christians in my life, I've never seen a physical mark on their foreheads, but what i did see, was a love, and an obedience to God's word, when the bible speaks of a forehead, this means the mind, what we think is that of God, we are to have the mind of Christ as the bible says.
when the bible speaks of the hands, this means what we do, the mind is our will, so the hands means what we do, as in preaching the gospel, sharing the word or God, prayng for one another, this is the mark of the holy spirit God seals us with.
so its no wonder that Satan seals his people with his mark on their hands or forehead, what his people do,with their hands and think in their minds, their will is of Satan himself, to distort God's word, bring confusion, and destroy God's people is their goal, and is his people's goal,totally the opposite of God's people, God's people will is to give life, and preach God's word,pray for one another, and praise God with these hands, and with our minds.
so we see that the mark of the beast is our will, what we do and say, the spirit of darkness or Satan will be the mark of all those who are not of God, they will come with false gospels, greed,selfishness,denying that Christ alone saves, and that nothing we can do or say can get us saved,they will not admit that the bible alone is their authority, but their authority will be their church, or their pastor, or some theologian, the pope, and such, anything but the bible alone..
the people of God will be toe opposite, they know that the bible alone is their authority,and we trust the bible alone, as the word of God.
