The Senior Pastors pay compared to the non stop hours they work and are on call for the Parishoners.

Many Pastors recieve a salary, but they work non stop and experience burn out and sickness because of the demands of there congregation. Many dont delegate work or assign and delegate work. Most Senior Pastors dont have benefits, sick pay, medical Insurance or life Insurance or benefits provide by there congregation

We need to have a Conference just for the Senior Pastors and there wives and family and do some teaching. We have many services at our Church per week and various activities and I only teach one weekday and on Sunday Morning. Tonight is Bible Study and I have people that have been foundational members with me since we started our Church we have a lot of them and we have trained them in all areas. of Ministry work The same for the day to day operations of the Ministry, I only go if there is a special meeting for me. We have staff and we try to work as Moses Father ,Jethro told him ,to bring the hard cases to me. We have 24 hour prayer, many special classes .so people have a lot to help them in our Church.
Sad to say, but this is far too often a REGULAR thing within the Body of CHRIST. The reasons why a Pastor gets paid so little vary:

-the congregation is cheap with the tithes & offerings, giving less than needed
-the Pastor's congregation is too small to sustain themselves at the moment
-the leader doesn't teach proper Kingdom finances like reaping and sowing & prosperity, believing it to be a robbery and a false gospel
-the congregation says in their heart "freely it was given to the Pastor, so freely give to us!"

As for delegating, this is where the 5-Fold ministry comes into play, but that only comes with the faith of the leader ("According to your faith, be it unto you"). If they teach falsely, saying "Apostles dont exist anymore" or "Prophecy has ended" then they have handicapped their own ministry! Many don't trust their ministers to actually do what they are ordained to do. In that case, I don't feel sorry for them, but for the ministers that are crying out to GOD saying "when will your leader loose me!??!" Here's a simple way to increase funds in a Church: INCREASE THE CHURCH POPULATION! If the Pastors would loose their Evangelists to do what they are to do (that is to preach the Gospel in the STREETS where the Gospel actually works, and not in the Pulpit) then one area of the problem would soon be solved. The next is educating/being educated on "reaping and sowing".
Agree with you Rev Luckett, we as Pastors need not to be afraid to teach on tithing and giving. As the economy worsens , people need to live by biblical principals.
