I am going to be doing a series on moral issues of the Bible..

This is about the talebearer, and who the talebearer is.. If you are the talebearer, stop it !!! Your salvation is at stake.

 

Proverbs 11:11-13 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked. He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.  A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

 

Proverbs 18:7-8 A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

 

Proverbs 20:18-19 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war. He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.

 

Proverbs 26:17-21He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears. As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death, So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport? Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.

 

Leviticus 19:16-17 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the LORD. Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

 

Here is the talebearer. The one that comes and starts problems because they have no understanding.. What makes them so dangerous is that most people can't tell who is a talebearer because they hate you in secret.. If you rebuke them because you have understanding, and can see a talebearer.. They will be upset, and they will accuse you of wrongdoing even if you are not.. All they need is to convince one person, and there is the strife.. Beware of these people, and if you are one of these people, stop doing it....

Amen on your scriptures Bro. Isreal. I had spoken to a couple of people just last week on this issue, but the title wasn't Talebearer, but it is the same. Sometimes people don't know how to leave it alone. I try to tell people when they are in something that stinks, act as though they have a mouth full of water...if you talk the water will spill...lol Until people get that concept they will continue to say thing that are not right for their souls. People don't realize that sometimes they say things that has a domino affect, such as the Bro. that is posting ridiculously on everyones page with hatred of gays. This man don't know he can cause someones death with such statements. God don't want us calling each other names and demeaning one another, He wants us to show one another love and we can show love and correction at the same time, if only we lead one to God's Word. See how you titled your message and put scripture for reference...that is all that needs to be done...I commend you on this discussion and I hope more post will follow the lead, that way when everyone is reading God's Word's and they don't have to read others opinion about God's Words they will get understanding of God's word by His interpretation and we will all be on one accord.

Again, keep your post in this fashion, it will enlighten others for real, because it is God's Word that cleanses us. Amen?

I keep bumping these threads up because they are relevant to truth.. Most everybody on this network post the imagination of their own hearts, and not the Word of God.. Nobody cares for your opinions of the Word.. Post the scriptures of the Precept you are teaching if you are a real teacher.... This is for anybody who post their own thouts of the Word.. Here is the purpose of man: TO BECOME ONE BODY, AND ONE MIND CALLED ISRAEL , TO BE GODS IN JERUSALEM. SOME RULING WITH CHRIST, AND SOME TO ETERNAL DAMNATION..
